Semana passada eu comprei o Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, e desde então venho jogando Street Fighter incessantemente, talvez uma preparação pro SF6?

Sean is the most fun shoto y'all ever did, buff him back you cowards.

Fuck you all Sean players

the new stages and remixed tracks are great, and widescreen in the arcade versions is downright gorgeous. Third Strike invalidates it gameplay-wise, but this one's still a raw time.

Has has some some points over 3rd Strike (nicer stages, widescreen support, cool super effect, actual win screens), but it's all visual. The bugs and awkward hitboxes almost ruin it. Just play 3rd Strike.

Decent update to SFIII. The addition of Urien, Hugo and Akuma is nice but you certainly get the impression they should have been here from the start.
Aside from that, the new stages are nice and great eye-candy.

Not much else to say since most of the game's other flourishes are more on the technical side of things, it's pretty much just a better version of New Generation.

....Which makes it completely irrelevant since you'll probably just end up playing Third Strike instead.

It does have a widescreen mode though! Which is cool, and kind of a trip after being used to the usual aspect ratio, but again there isn't much of a reason to play this way since it breaks a lot of the tech.

Better than New Generation, not better than 3rd Strike. The parry mechanic wasn't perfected in this version, which makes 3rd Strike the superior game. Good introduction to newer characters that weren't in New Generation such as Hugo, and a cool showcase to display Alex and Hugo in a rivalry.

The sound and the stages are always a great feature. The overall presentation is great, but 3rd Strike still takes it to a higher level.

Enjoyment: 5.5/8
Replayability: 0.5/1
Graphics: 0.5/0.5
Sound: 0.5/0.5
Total: 7/10

Not sure if it's better or worse than New Generation, but I know one thing for sure: it's SF III. It's amazing.

Sameish to the previous version but slightly refined, not too much legway between them when it comes to playing them.

Main - Ken

Sadly overlooked by it's later entry.

2nd Impact

Coisa linda.

9/10

The fact that this cover art is miles better than SF 3rd Strike is kinda concerning.

Some people like this more than Third Strike. Don't listen to them, they're all Sean players.

I still come back to this from time to time since
-the backgrounds look better
-I prefer most themes to their 3S counterparts and there is no reused music for characters
-The Victory screens are downright gorgeous
-Fun Sean
I really do like the presentation in this game a lot, a big shame that capcom either replaced or straight up removed a lot of SFIII's charm when it came to making Third Strike.

it's not an extremely different game from its predecessor. the three new characters are cool, with hugo being a lot of fun to play as, but it doesn't really add a lot. i like that taunts are added and have gameplay effects such as increasing meter. i like the depth that EX moves add to the game. it's nice that gill now sometimes has a chance to pick a less stupidly broken super than resurrection. but i don't feel this is quite at the level that alpha 2 was compared to alpha 1. it's not quite the obsoleting that i was hoping it would be, and the stages don't change backgrounds anymore (potentially to save memory?), so in that way, it's worse. not the worst sequel we could've gotten, but there was a lot more they could've done here.

I appreciate the touch up and additional characters here

Shoutout to Hashin Sho for being so fucked up that Capcom's approach to nerfing it was removing it entirely

Only real improvements from New Generation is the soundtrack, slightly updated roster (Yang, Hugo and Akuma) alongside news stages. Only game where Sean has his own theme and is good. Other than that, pretty forgetable and rushed.

I prefer the aesthetic of this to 3rd Strike, especially since it has native widescreen support! Necro sounds weird though.

Pretty cool. Love the new characters (especially Hugo). EX moves are great too. There's still no reason to play it over Third Strike unless you're a Sean main though.

Good ass game. Doesn't hold a candle to Third Strike in the end, but on its own its a pretty neat game. This is essentially just a better version of New Generation, and it certainly stays as that.

This game's hard to learn. But the timeless visuals and the OST keep me coming back.

Core gameplay here definitely isn’t on the same level of polish and depth of 3s but this is the version of sf3 I play whenever I just wanna relax. The presentation in 2i is very colorful and laid back in comparison to its successor. While I prefer 3s’ atmosphere overall because of how well everything meshes together, certain aspects of 2i like the soundtrack and stage design are a lot stronger here compared to 3s. It’s a lot of fun being able to kick major ass with ibuki and sean as well, I love those two characters and sean in particular got totally neutered in 3s

what it lacks in third strike’s “lightning in a bottle” disposition it makes up for in complete aesthetic insanity

somehow better than third strike
