Honestly, just make Pokemon cross-overs with everything. It's a gold mine.

An extremely good attempt to introduce the genre to kids. They should absolutely make another one of these.

I want to do all the stories and fill out the pokedex but I think I'll be a reanimated skeleton man by the time I get to it

Oda Nobunaga has a fucking Zekrom how the fuck do you top that

Watched a friend play this for a while, and I'm honestly waiting to play it for myself because aside from getting over how it looks initially, I think it is fun and awesome.

Useless Jigglypuff in the entire game, only good is the character skill and finding the perfect link with everyone is a pain in the ass.
Nevertheless is a good pokemon game.

I remember renting this game out from my local library. Need to replay it

My favorite Pokemon spin-off game ever!

play this goddamn masterpiece of a game, thanks

Great tactical take on Pokémon's core gameplay. Really enjoyed the dynamic it brings and would love to play this again some day

The gameplay is very simplistic but just fun enough for me to play the main story through but miss me with the whopping THIRTY-TWO extra campaigns, the gameplay's way too simplistic and the story's too barely existent for me to playthrough all that.

Despite my mixed feelings on this one I think a sequel could be awesome, heck I'd be more excited for that than the main series nowadays (hey-yooooooooooooo)

Would have rather been playing Fire Emblem.

The best spinoff of the series

This game was extremely fun to play through... for the main story. I'll get into the postgame stuff later, but it was a really cool concept that I wish would get revisited! I loved the character designs and the way that they would evolve alongside their Pokemon, and honestly the entire concept of Pokemon meets Sengoku era Japan was extremely great. The tactical gameplay was pretty neat, too.

...but the postgame was kind of not very good. I'm not sure if you can even play most of it anymore given what happened to DS wifi, so maybe that's for the best. Even so, I wish this was more of a series and less of a one-off.

Nintendo has always been pro-colonialism, I guess.

Why was this game actually really good

Combine Pokemon with Nobunaga's Conquest and you get a surprisingly decent game. I should finish it at some point, but alas like most other things, I just don't have the time.

Pokemon Conquest works so well that it wraps you into things that may seem tedious but make them come out as fun. Tons of episodes post game, getting the best out of resources, fighting and defending from enemies, and making sure you make your army the best they can be, conquest gives you so much to handle that you will never be bored of it. Conquest probably is the best spin-off Pokemon has since Pokemon Snap, and while it’s a bit of a shame it took so long, it is well worth looking into for any Pokemon fan or tactic RPGer.

The best Pokémon spin-off ever created!

What a truly bizarre game. Pokemon + Samurai Warriors and in a Fire Emblem styled tactical gameplay?

You just can't make this shit up, but somehow it works really well and ends up being one of the best Pokemon spin-off games.

The Best Pokémon Spin-off so far.

I’ve been streaming this game for months upon months now and the content never stops. I have 70+ hours in it and it’s absolutely surreal how much there is to do and it never ends. I recommend it a ton!

No seriously, I’m not even halfway through the content.

infinitely more enjoyable and interesting than every Fire Emblem game ever made in every way that matters. still dropped the game after 2 hours
