good casual fun, competitive brawl was apparently not that good.

Beautiful graphics and sound, incredibly cool and entertaining story mode, a perfect roster and tons of unlockables and secrets.
Just wish that it didn't take a handful of dedicated fans to crack the game open and rebuild it from the ground up in order to make it not a nightmare to actually play.

I'm really bad at fighting games. :(
But I still have fun playing Brawl. :)

Brawl has the best ost and single player out of all smash games, and is fun casually despite lacking in its competitive aspects.

Subspace was so raw I literally clapped when Sonic showed up as a kid

I was a poor kid so I owned this and one other game at the time and guess what I played and nothing else.

Subspace owns, game mechanics very much do not own

The only Smash game with actual cut scenes.

My main is also locked behind the final smash of another character.

Brawl trips into mediocrity but it's saved by a shitload of modding.
