Just plain, cute, timeless fun.
Great gameplay, nice graphics, catchy soundtrack, and just overall great experience for all ages and skill levels.

A truly universal game in my opinion.

This game changed my life.
I know that's a statement with alot of weight, but it's touched me deeply and helped me understand myself and navigate the scary feelings about mortality we all have.

It's heartfelt, aesthetically pleasing, and charming from end to start. The main cast is all lovely, my favorites being Vivi, Zidane, and Steiner. I loved every member and their storylines (except Amaranth) and although Freya, Quinoa, and Eiko felt lackluster at times, I still really enjoyed having them in the party.

Dagger and Zidane's romance is oh so beautiful, the ending made me tear up. it's only rivaled by Final Fantasy X's Tidus and T
Yuna.

Overall, I cannot stress enough my love for Final Fantasy IX. It's a game I turn to for comfort, it's a place to call home.

judgement boy haters can leave

One of the funniest, most unique games Ive ever played. A peak example of the PS2 Innova era.

Huge day for gay people

Jokes aside, as much as I love this game, it's aged poorly in many aspects and can be a total slog to get through. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're a tried and true RPG fan and willing so sit through its bullshit, but the reward is great characters, the best persona girl, and an insane ass story that's so memorable.

Got this game as a gift from a friend for Christmas, and loved every second of it.

A fun, cute, and hilarious indie title that only takes a few hours to 100%.

Thanks Laura ♡

This game took everything that made Embodiment of Scarlet Devil an addicting and entertaining game, and refined it to near perfection.

The features introduced such as shift hitbox, varying collection lines, no. of lives and bombs, ect for different characters, and boss position followed at the bottom of the screen have become series staples.

I really wish I could praise this game beyond it's visuals. It's hailed as a horror VN classic and although amazing in concept it's just dull, and even downright pedophilic towards the titular character.

Every time this game starts to get good, it fucks itself over with a creepy, annoying protagonist and how it creeps so repetitively on the character who is a young girl.

The real horror of this game is the part that's not even meant to be horror.

This is basically weird fetish material.

this game got me like:

FEAR!
FEAR GOD AND BRING GLORY TO HIM,
FOR THE HOUR OF HIS
JUDGEMENT HAS COME TO YOU
NOW!
WHEN THE THOUSAND YEARS HAVE EXPIRED, SATAN WILL BE RELEASED!
JUDGEMENT.
HAS COME.
TO YOU.

I cannot forget what I've seen and experience in this game. It's world is a bizarre, genuinely likable yet dim and grotesque one, full of bizarre metaphors for capitalism, sex, and identity.

Everything had me scratching my head, and maybe there is no particular meaning, but there were many philosophical thoughts that this game threw around at me through both words and atmosphere. Despite its overall darkness, the game can be very funny, and very charming.

The sheer uniqueness and timelessness of this game cannot be stressed, and I've truly never experienced anything like it. Now with modern ports and a proper English translation, I urge you to try this game if even slightly interested.

I can never properly review this game because it's so near and dear to me that saying I'm biased towards it would be an understatement.

Despite its flaws, I'd still like to convey that it's a visually stunning masterpiece with an equally memorable soundtrack, cast, and world.

Gameplay is admittedly, very very easy. People hold this game up to other platinum titles, and I think their enjoyment suffers from that.

Ōkami is NOT a game that's going to be hard, or unforgiving, or very complex. But what it IS, is something beautiful, engaging, unique, and very special. It's a relaxing and heart warming experience that I turn to whenever I feel down. Issun makes me laugh, the majestic sounding music and sumi-e (Japanese ink wash painting) aesthetic makes my artist heart bloom, all of this game is simply just unforgettable.

Ōkami is truly something special to me, it's so much more than a video game. Of course, it's not at all perfect, but if you were to ask me about it, my love for this game prevails above all else, like soft rays of sunshine through the clouds.

Weird. Hilarious. Stylish. Addicting.

Katamari Damacy is such a fun, bizarre and one of a kind experience suitable for all ages and skill ranges. Genuinely cannot recommend or praise it enough.
