It's a Yoshi game. I don't like Yoshi games. This one in particular is very basic and forgettable.

I actually really like this game. I had a lot of fun with the multiplayer PvP, the maps are really cool and there was just something ominous about navigating through the deep water and seeing another submarine approach.

I didn't really get in the flow with the Hotline Miami games. I barely ever went out on these insane murder sprees, but played it safe most of the time instead. The first one was fun. A nice short game that doesn't overstay its welcome and it's super fast paced. But the gore also made me kinda uncomfortable. The second one frustrated me to the point where I simply couldn't continue. Skill issue I guess. I think these games just aren't for me.

10 years and this game still absolutely slaps

The game starts out very nicely in my opinion. It's pretty challenging and the combat is also satisfying. But as Blasphemous went on, I started to see many aspects that I disliked.

For starters, the game got super easy from the halfway point onwards. Seriously, I thought this was supposed to be Dark Souls level difficulty, but the game was kind of a breeze for me. Most deaths came from instant death traps, which felt more cheap than difficult for me.

Moreover, while I like the movement, the platforming is kinds eh, especially because of the aforementioned instant death traps.

Idk, I really wanted to enjoy this game more than I did because I love the theming and the aesthetics, but Blasphemous didn't really do it for me.

This is my very first DS game, so I have a lot of nostalgia for it. It's just so endearing to me, they really did a good job representing the Spongebob world in the Yellow Avenger imo

What a weird game for Nintendo to produce. I often completely forget that this even existd. Idk why, but the presentation is very charming, I can't help but appreciate Nintendo Pocket Football Club, even though it's a bit basic

Sometimes I wanna punch child me for buying these kinds of games

They don't make Mario Golf games like this anymore :/

What a god damn banger. I have so much nostalgia for this game and I love its Nintendo weirdness. Yeah, there isn't a whole lot to do, but Tomodachi Life is super charming nonetheless!

Surprisingly fun, very arcady and super cheap. I miss the small DSi Ware games, I guess mobile games rendered those types of games obsolete.

Hot take: I prefer this over Smash for Wii U. I just really like Smash Run and I appreciated being able to play Smash on the go (before the Switch lmao). Seeing this game work on a handheld was so damn impressive back in the day, the smash hype was real. This is my most played 3DS game and it very much deserves this title.
