Things I like in games I dislike

Idea shamelessly stolen from multiple users here. I don't know who had the idea first, but thank you anyway.

I tried saying something positive about every single game I actively dislike, but I couldn't.

Someone once told me that the cover art is Goku, Kuririn and Lunch cosplaying and/or playing D&D, and I love that and can't ever unsee it
The sheer absurdity of it can be entertaining with a specific mindset. You shoot a mutant gorilla to death in this Final Fantasy DLC.
These Disney Renaissance games constantly nail that visual presentation.
I love this series' combat, it's so cool in a power fantasy kind of way, and NG3 retains that foundation at least.
The sheer experimentation is commendable tbh, even if the execution leaves a lot to be desired.
I do have nostalgia attached to this one, and it's actually not bad before it starts to shit the bed
Some killer tracks, I love Galaxy Man's theme in particular
I love the soundtrack, the art style, even the gameplay is enjoyable in a turn-off-your-brain kind of way. If it wasn't for that unhinged structure...
Presentation-wise, this is an absolute all-timer, one of the GOATs of the genre.
Killer main theme, and in the rare occasions that the game isn't torturing you, it's got that satisfying Hitman formula
"Did you know that Disney animators worked on the sprites" etc etc
It's one of the best-looking games on the system, the presentation as a whole gives it a "unique" flair.
Still looks really good for a 2007 game, and the ambience is fairly incredible.
I legit can't think of any positives for the campaign, but the multiplayer was good.
Obviously the music, the final dungeon theme in particular really did not have to go this hard. And this version in specific has incredible spritework.
Missed potential galore. I like the setting, the concept, the gameplay itself... it just needed more playtesting, really, its way too brutal. Maybe playing this with save states would remove it from this list?
The combat, the music and the visuals. I actually do consider revisiting this game, only skipping every single cutscene this time.
When you are actually allowed to suplex zombies, it can be a fun romp
I like some of the songs, and the Falcon armor's flight ability is cool
When you are actually wall jumping and doing acrobatic shit, it's the good old Prince of Persia I really like. And the edgyness can be unintentionally hilarious
The gunplay itself really is satisfying to this day
The obvious: a killer presentation, with some of the best-looking visuals of its time, and banger music
The first impression is not bad actually. I do mean the literal first level and nothing else though.
Bass is cool to control. Dashing, double jumping, shooting in multiple directions...
Still feels and looks unique and fresh to this day, thanks to the striking art direction, and unique setting.
Being able to control your fall after boosting upwards is cool I guess.
The fond memories attached to this game will never go away. Both through playing it, and the countless rumors, I have vivid memories of trying to unlock playable Baby
The soundtrack does give some scenes a certain gravitas. It also gave me this video, and I'll forever be grateful for that.
The movesets are very cool references to their respective IPs, and the way Tom & Jerry are animated is really clever.
The art direction is great, as expected from the studio
Another game I'm not sure I "dislike", or if I just get filtered by it.
Visually it's undeniably appealing, and the gameplay loop is enjoyable during the brief time it doesn't get monotonous and repetitive.
I like the concept and the reimaginations of classic Mega Man robots. And I have fond memories of watching a couple of episodes of the TV show back in the day.
The first episode is such a banger, that I'm not sure if I "dislike" this game. I just couldn't be bothered to finish everything. And this port in specific has a veeeeery handy rewind mechanic.
It's got style for days, certainly an all-timer in that regard.
The vibes are impeccable and go really hard
The art style really is striking, and an RPG with a time manipulation mechanic is a cool idea.
This track and the moment that acompanies it. It tricked me into thinking the game would become good from that point on.

@Weatherby I was curious about this damn game for years, it looked so cool, is always in "hidden gems" lists... what a disappointment that was
