A lot of fun, there are loads of songs of various genres and many of them are great. It's quick to learn and not too challenging. The only thing that might put new players off is the fact that some of the costumes and load screens are lewd, meaning that Steam will recommend you horny nudity games every time you play it. [This is not a problem for your boy]
Otherwise, perfect game to jam out to for as long as you feel, definitely recommend if you like rhythm games. -- Oh the devs are lame tho so I'm not buying the full version hmph

Uchikoshi, you beautiful bastard. AI isn't perfect but it still ticks all the boxes and has one of the most memorable endings in gaming. The soundtrack is killer and the characters are ace and I love them (but I do feel bad about the one person that I decided right away sucked and then doubted through the entire game for basically nothing) :)

There was really no reason at all for this to be tied to The Matrix. In fairness, besides a few uncanny valley movements and scenes a lot of this does look really good.
The shooter section is HOTD without the aiming, adaptive triggers were not used so there’s nothing interesting but the visuals. After that there’s a scene that shows you the effects of the new engine which is neat I guess.
Then you’re placed in an open world city with roam to walk, drive or “fly” (1st person) around just to explore. It still looks great, being blinded by the sun while driving was pretty cool. Sadly the cars felt weightless despite their handling suggesting they were back-heavy. They do roll if you handbrake turn tho so maybe game devs can build from the engine and give us mechanics that don’t feel like GTA IV

The design of the world and characters were admittedly a bit off-putting to start, but ended up quickly being one of my favourite parts of the game. I'm not normally big on platformers, and this one certainly has its really, really annoying sections (partially due to its age I expect) but overall it wasn't enough of a problem to complain about. With my attention being immediately grasped as soon as I overcame each hurdle.
Psychonauts definitely has much better concepts and ideas than it does levels and gameplay for the most part, but the balance is there enough that even when I wasn't having fun (per se) I wanted to continue because I knew I would be before too long.
The final level was immensely disappointing, with the platforming being so irritating that this review was almost just "Incoming! Just kidding, you can't catch that! What's the matter Raz?" bc I had to hear those lines so many times. And the final boss was about as underwhelming as it gets.
All that said, overall good time, I'll play the sequel for sure

Ngl, I wrote off Fortnite years ago, but it's changed a lot since then and it's clear the memes and reputation had made a huge impact on my opinion.
More importantly, I've found that being hard carried, driven around to love songs and watching my gfs dummy thicc skin do cute dances has actually been really fun. 10/10 best dating app
