One of the few Ubisoft games that I actually enjoyed.
Artstyle is incredibly distinctive and fun (if a bit uh, too "indie", if you know what I mean).
The battle system is, SUPER unique and fun to play with! Being able to delay enemy turns so you can stagger them and have them lose their turn is super satisfying, I'm genuinely amazed with how much it kept me captivated throughout the game.
And the story... while a tad generic, is carried by some really fun party members and character writing!
This is a must-play for all RPG fans in my opinion and just, any fan of video games as a whole, it's such a comfy and joyous experience!

Is this game like... a sequel? An expansion pack? It's hard to tell honestly, but it's certainly a great improvement over the first one!
Levels are more fun to explore and visually varied (a great compliment with how the first encounter's levels were), the weapons feel amazing (especially the addition of a sniper rifle!), and its visuals genuinely still hold up to this day!
This game's also a ton of fun with friends, I enjoyed my time with it playing co-op even more than the first!

While the early levels were incredibly fun and the different gravity gimmicks and visuals were super cool to experience at first, it just gets really monotonous really quickly, and over-stays its welcome.
The story is also incredibly generic which doesn't help matters.
Kinda just feels like a worse Quake 4 in terms of gameplay.

This is one of the best first person shooters ever made.
From the atmosphere of the real time lighting, the music and sounds, the sound design of the weapons and how fucking satisfying they feel.
The enemies are all incredibly intellgient and will always surprise you with the ways they counter your strategies, it's genuinely remarkable!
As for the "Collection" part of the Platinum collection, Extraction Point is an absolutely excellent addition to the game! And Perseus Mandate is just OK and fairly skippable.
But yeah, genuinely excellent package! I adored my time with this game!

I was honestly incredibly pleasantly surprised playing through this, it didn't feel so much like a "retro" game and more like it was made in the current day with a retro style.
The difficulty was incredibly fair, the controls were rock solid, the pixel art was REALLY good for the gameboy, the music is some of the best I've heard from the system... I just had a really good time with it!
My main complaint with it is the final boss being way too hard, and the checkpoint for dying to him not being on the boss itself, but otherwise... pretty good!

This game was my childhood man, I played this one... so fucking much.
I'd go back home from school, open up some flash site, and just, play this game all day.
I recognize now that it's really, not good at all in a lot of ways? But this is what got me into smash and I'm incredibly grateful for it!
Love this game!

Okay, OFF...
This is the easiest game I've ever played.
The visuals are amazing, the music is wonderful, a mixture of really good atmospheric tracks and really catchy tunes.
But good god there's just no Game in this Video Game.
You have so much health you have to go out of your way to get a game over, the enemies are braindead to fight, the bosses even moreso.
The story's also way too confusing, something the game's developer admitted himself.
I think you'd have more fun watching videos explaining the story and listening to the OST over actually playing the game, it's just kind of a slog.
