By trying to be bigger than Doodle God I feel like it's way less fun than Doodle God. Some of the combinations don't even make sense. Also no way to sort your stuff (at least that I could tell) in a game this big is kinda crazy.

Is it a scary horror game? No but most modern horror games aren’t. Is it really really cool? Absolutely. I think too many people are viewing this as a game that’s trying really hard to be scary and failing when in reality I think it’s just trying to be a cool project. Some of the stuff it did I’m still not sure HOW it did and that’s really cool. It’s a really great time but don’t expect to be screaming in your room over it.

Fun puzzle game, really not much else to say. It's kind of a dry year, so, this is a good pickup, especially if you're a fan of Nintendo or the puzzle game genre.

Wow, I've played Tekken before, but it's never clicked like this. This is my favorite current gen fighter easily. King main for life.

As someone who really likes the creature collector genre, I see the potential in this game, but its severely held back by a lack of unique direction. A lot of the Pals being derivative of existing Pokemon and the world looking like your average asset flip really get in the way of this being something special. I could even look past the lack of a narrative if the game just felt like it stood out more.

Most projects inspired/based on SCP is really lame but Control feels like a love letter to the best SCP has to offer on top of also being its own distinct thing. Remedy really are just masters of worldbuilding and story-telling, and this also has the most gameplay depth of the Alan Wake Universe games that I have played (Alan Wake, Control, and Alan Wake 2).

Jesse Faden is a great character, her story is really compelling, the world and characters are really compelling. I became an overnight Remedy fan with Alan Wake and Control, I cannot wait for Control 2.

This game has a lot of potential I guess but they only ever made the one and this one SUCKS. I like the concept but the controls are sickening (you are genuinely better off holding the controller on its side) and it has the WORST final boss in any video game I have ever played. This game is maybe fun to kinda mess around with if you already own Rare Replay or have Nintendo Switch Online, do NOT go out of your way to play this.

Is this game what I would have made if I was in charge of a Suicide Squad game? No. And believe me I have thought about my ideal Suicide Squad games for years. But does that make this game bad? Not at all. Rocksteady have a very clear vision for this game (as has become expected of them) and its fun for what it is. The gameplay is very complex, at times almost too complex. The story suffers from pacing issues near the end. Overall it was fun though, and I’m excited for the coming seasons.

Also the character chemistry between the Squad is the best in a superhero game since Guardians of the Galaxy and certain characters like Captain Boomerang and King Shark are delightful.

I remember people hating this game when it came out but tbh I don’t see it. Its Far Cry but with cavemen. The caveman genre is honestly pretty unexplored. Can it get a bit repetitive when every Far Cry game feels very similar? Sure. Is this game especially repetitive because of less overall options? Probably. But I had fun. Idk if I will ever play it again but I am glad I played it the first time.

If you like Far Cry this is really fun, especially because while its unmistakably a Far Cry game, it is very different in gameplay from every other Far Cry. It has the same structure, same fun characters, and same charm as the other games. Now you just have spears instead of guns.

Really there are no words that can describe how great of a game this is. Gameplay is average/subpar (better than the first game’s combat) but the story makes it a perfect video game. Remedy are certified masters of the industry.

Alan Wake is one of those games where you see a lot of people call it good, go "oh well people say that's good, I'll get around to it eventually I guess" and then when you finally sit down and play it you realize that it was in fact an amazing game and you should have played it sooner. Alan Wake is a transcendent experience, if you have not played this game, play it. Gameplay is honestly kind of repetitive at times so there is no issue with just playing easy mode for the story.

First time ever playing Perfect Dark and I wish I played it sooner. Great game, great port. Some N64 era bullshit in some of the challenges and kinda cryptic in areas but overall a great time.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game...I just don't love it like the first one. And that is entirely because this game is TOO DAMN LONG! I understand that on the heels of Banjo-Kazooie, the next logical step in the developers' minds would be "Bigger levels, more open world", but it feels like Tooie is open to its own detriment. "Too much of a good thing" and all of that. I hate backtracking in any game I play, especially collectathons. I hate having to go back to a level after learning a new ability. There are so many moving parts in this game, and don't get me wrong, it is ambitious and charming, but it pushed me away from really enjoying it as much as the first game, especially since unlike the first game this was my first playthrough and there was a lot of confusing portions and puzzles. This entire game feels like its populated with levels similar to the the final world of Banjo-Kazooie, Click Clock Woods, which is by far the most tedious level in that game, spread out even longer. That being said, I love it, and I think if you take it slower or don't try to 100% complete it you may honestly find it more enjoyable. Overall not a bad game, just not as well-rounded and enjoyable as Banjo-Kazooie. But then again, are any of us?

One of the greatest 3D platformers and games in general of all time. This game is so good that not even its sequels or a spiritual successor could ever be better than it. If you have not played this, play it. I suggest the Xbox Live Arcade version (the version on 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and in Rare Replay).

A lot of people lost faith. They said Pikmin 4 was cancelled. It was never coming out. Hell, by the time it was officially revealed, many people straight up didn't know it was in development in the first place. But I never lost hope. I never buckled. I never faltered. I had the utmost faith. 10 years since the last Pikmin game. Over 20 years since the franchise came to be. There was a lot riding on this game for me. And it delivered. I did not like the direction Pikmin 3 took for the series. I have always loved Pikmin 1's simplicity, and thought Pikmin 2 was an amazing sequel to 1's foundation. 4 took a route very similar to 2, and I could not be happier. The treasures are fun to collect, the enemy design and variety is top notch, the level layouts are really well designed. There are a lot of places where the difficulty of Pikmin has been really lowered (and some where it has been greatly heightened) but a lot of what makes it easier is totally optional and great quality of life. Pikmin 2 is a fantastic game but sometimes it's nice to be able to just restart a day after your Pikmin get slaughtered by an insane out of nowhere obstacle. Beautiful game. When it released in July I spent every waking moment for 3 days playing it and 100% completing it. Peakmin 4. What else is there to say?
