It's bad, but still better than DmC.

The gameplay is horrible, easy, not fun and very exploitable. The bosses are also garbage, but...

At least it still feels like a DMC game because the art and aesthetics have that Victorian gothic feel, the music is good, the characters and voice acting are super over-the-top and cheesy.

Also this game was the first DMC to implement dodge/rolling, wall-running, backflips and a bunch of other cool stylish moves.

Wolfo Zelda based around Japanese myth and folklore. Incredibly fun and unique gameplay, engaging story and world, great level design and bosses and killer OST. It deserves all the praise it gets. An iconic classic and masterpiece for a reason.

A modern Power Rangers beat em up could've been cool if even the slightest amount of effort was put into it, but this game doesn't have that. The controls are horrible, there's no variety to the enemies and they are damage sponges. The combat would be fun if not for horrible hitboxes, but Megazord battles are boring and there's just no original ideas in the game. Oh and the worst thing of all is there's no online co-op. The game feels more like a student project than something that would be published by such a huge company like Bandai Namco. Avoid this game because there's just nothing of value aside from some nostalgic value and a good cartoon art style.

Iconic classic that set the gold standard for 3D platformer and would still be the best Mario game today if Odyssey didn't come out.

Gameplay mechanics still feel just as good as it did when the game was first released, the levels are all very creative and are super fun to explore and the music is just masterfully composed.

Persona + Ys + Trails = Tokyo Xanadu

This was my first Falcom game back in 2018. I was looking for Persona styled alternatives and a friend recommended it to me. Fast forward a couple years after I've played the entire Trails and Ys series and I'd say it's one of my least favorite Falcom games, but it's still great regardless.

Story is pretty much a generic 2000s shounen and the characters are very trope-y, but it's still compelling because Falcom writers are top notch and know how to keep things interesting.

Combat is like Ys mixed with the orbment system of Cold Steel. It's a lot of fun.

Dungeon design is kinda weak, but the OST is incredible as with all Falcom so it makes up for it.

The game also has tons of references to Trails and Ys so if you're a fan of those series it's worth a playthrough just for that.

An amazing game that has aged surprisingly well even to this day. It's not quite as over-the-top as the sequels and the combat isn't as fast-paced and complex as it would become, but the atmosphere is incredible, the OST is fantastic, the gameplay is still a lot of fun, the bosses are well designed and memorable and the characters are endearing. A classic that instantly cemented Dante as one of the best and coolest video game characters of all time.

A great roguelike that has amazing and addicting combat with a vast array of weapons and abilities to make builds from slightly marred by its bland level design.

Regardless it's still easy to sink hours and hours into this game just because of how enjoyable the combat is.

Chaotic mindless fun that's enjoyable for a couple hours, but it's a bit too simplistic and gets old quick, plus there's no real replay value.

A very lackluster and anti-climatic finale to a great reboot trilogy of origins story for Lara. From the story to the gameplay and graphics everything just feels like such an inferior rehash of Rise. I mean it's not a horrible game, it's just pretty forgettable which is disappointing since it's supposed to be the 'epic definitive conclusion' to the trilogy. Well, at least Lara is still just as great as ever.

I mean, it's a musou game. You already know what you're in for, some insane mindless action and addictive fun. Despite having the largest character roster to date, it's a bit of a step down from Orochi 3 which had cooler looking special attacks, rush attacks and more entertaining cut-scenes in my humble opinion, but it's still pretty top notch and the addition of the god characters is cool. This might not be the best Warriors game, but when it comes to story content it's certainly the most ridiculously crazy one.

Castlevania's first foray into 3D.

It's bad. Never listen to anyone who says this is better than Lords of Shadow, they're delusional.

I only played this about 3 years ago and put 22 hours into it and barely remember anything about it. Granted I do not have the best memory in the world, but that should kinda tell you something. There are vastly better roguelikes and metroidvanias available. I will give it props for being one of the first hybrids of those genres though.

The greatest unfinished game ever made. One step forward from DMC 3 and two bigger steps back.

The action scenes and dialogue are just as awesome and over-the-top as DMC 3, the combat is polished to a pristine shine, the addition of style swapping in mid battle makes it even more stylish and the arsenal of weapons is just as good.

Nero is a great addition to DMCs already great cast of characters, but the story is very lacking compared to DMC 3 and feels very rushed.

The music is just as blood-pumping intense as ever.

The level design is great...The first time you play them, but going through the same levels in reverse order with Dante is when you can tell the game was rushed and unfinished.

The combat and everything else in the game is so great that the rehashing of levels and bosses didn't bother me that much and even though it isn't quite the masterpiece DMC 3 is, it's still amazing and worth playing if you're a fan of the series.

It's a very ambitious concept and if the combat was more enjoyable the game could've been a true classic because the story, characters, world and atmosphere are all really good. Unfortunately the janky combat makes it hard to get through for most, but I still found it compelling enough to reach the end and thought it was worth it.

It's a mess, has horrible frame-rate drops and is basically just 'Michael Bay: The Video Game', but I'll be damned if I didn't have lots of fun with it and wasted countless hours playing it back in the day. Super addictive mindless fun.
