I could not possibly be as good as this game needs me to.

"You'll hate our grandpa more than your own or your money back guaranteed!" - The devs of this game, probably

It's Lumines with a soundtrack someone might actually recognize, and a damn good one at that too! Everything else feels off compared to the other games, and the gamemode based content is lacking. But it's still worth your time to at least play through Voyage mode and listen to all the beats you can manage.

Take the original Lumines, double the song count, and make it better in every way. That's what this is. It's the Puyo Puyo Tsu of the series, if you can understand me on that. This was also the first time the current incarnation of puzzle mode showed up though, so it's not a perfect time.

1990

"It is the nineties, and there is time for Klax" was immensely spot on, as it was released in 1990 and you bet your ass I'd make room for it in my scheduled. Block dropping fun, but with a conveyor belt to give you the pieces. Chaotic.

They gave Tetris a third dimension and some floating head thing and it fucking rocks. I livestreamed myself going through 101 levels in this game several years ago and I don't regret it. Masterpiece of a block dropper.

Goodnight, my sweet prince...

Dig Dug II does something completely different than the first one and not only is it better, it's best. There's not a single other classic arcade game that does what Dig Dug II does for me and I will die defending it.

Memes aside, it's better than Tetris. This game takes its two colors all the way to the god damn bank, adding music that feels straight from the 2000s clubs and modernizes it for an audience that likes QoL features. It's got everything you need to understand what Lumines is: the good, the great, and also puzzle mode. Even with me saying that, it's worth the 100% journey. Especially since it's the only one in the series I'll always say that for.

Bubble Fucign Bobble. I genuinely can't make an actual review, my brain goes mush and I just wanna play the damn thing

It's Lumines 2 with a more modern monetization system. Go read my review of Lumines 2, then add in the fact that all the skin packs are locked behind DLC purchases. There's more of them though, very close to triple digits in fact.

Being the first one, it's a little odd. It's also the easiest apparently. I wouldn't know, they're all hard to me.

It's gotta be the prettiest Tetris there ever was, with amazing music and always something to do. It caters to everyone who'd ever wat to play Tetris so perfectly across all skill levels, and even people who might not be into Tetris that much. The graphics, oh my god. You've had to have heard about them by now. It doesn't get any better. And the sound design is just...man, every game that has a focus on music should try to do this at some point. It's a must play, plain and simple.

Have you ever wanted to play a rhythm game on a washing machine? Sega has you covered.

A story is taking place. Do I understand it? I want to. I want to so badly.
