Going off of Backloggd’s release dates, which will be slightly off to the US for certain years. This list will be weighing my nostalgia from that time period to some extent, so the note under each game will have my other favorite game of that year. Will try to simplify things by not allowing myself to pick remakes/remasters/collections of old games under any circumstances(ie no Kirby Super Star Ultra or Digimon Cyber Sleuth:Complete Edition, as much as it might pain me), as well as no rom hacks or flash games. However sequels/expansions will be allowed(ie the third version of a Pokémon game or Ultimate games in Monster Hunter).
