The worst cast of the named and non mute characters

I loved Lightening and….Well Lightenings cool.

Bartz, Faris, Lenna, Krile, and Galuf while not deserving of the top half of the list are a lovable quality cast.

Vaan and Penelope suck but Fran, Ashe, and Balthier rise this cast to this spot.

The most average of all the cast. Not sure I love any of them but I also don’t dislike any of them.

The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This cast is great because of the brotherhood, not because there are any standouts.

Now we are into elite casts.
FFX had an amazing cast. It’s ranking here shows the strength this series has in this category and is not a slight at the cast itself.

Cecil, Kain, Rydia, and Rose single handedly carry this cast this high despite Tellah and Edward.
Also a lot of higher end mid characters like Yang, Porum, Pollum, Cid and Edge.

As a whole I wouldn’t mind anyone ranking IV or X ahead of this but my love for my main party in this game: Zidane, Dagger, Steiner, and of course the great Vivi rise this to the top 5.

Great Characters: Ramza, Delita, Agrias, Meliadoul, Cid, Mustadio, Beowulf

Ass Characters: Algus

The top 3 was and extreme struggle for me as the top 3 are in my top 4 casts of all time (the other is Chrono Trigger.) It makes me sick to rank this 3rd on this list even though 4th of my favorite casts of all time isn’t shabby at all.

This game easily has my largest amount of loved characters with

Loved: Terra, Lock, Edgar, Sabin, Celes, Shadow

With a ton of high mid characters.

However it only ranks third as I could care less about Umari and Gogo. I’m also not a huge Mog, Gau, or Cyan fan personally.

Again.. 3rd on this list but 4th all time counting every game I’ve played.

Love: Cloud, Tifa, Aerith
Borderline love/Really like: Barrett, Yuffie, Vincent, Cid

Fucking hate: Cait Sith

My love for the top 3 rode this above VI by the slightest margin.

Not a single person in this cast I don’t love. Clive, Joshua, Cid, Jill, Dion, Clive’s Uncle that I can’t remember his name at the moment, Torgal, and even though she’s not playable I love Mid as well.
Fantastic, first class cast.
