Tim Drake in Gotham Knights is bisexual to reflect his sexuality in the comics. The news of that was dropped shortly after the 30 fps lock on consoles was revealed. Chuds have stated these 'identity politics additions' have taken away development time that could have optimised the game better.
I thought most of the TLOU2 hate was because of abusing game devs n shit then proceeding to make Oscar Bait The Game with that blood sweat and tears and marketing it as "a Neil Druckman product".
A sizeable amount of the public outrage surrounding TLOU2 was indeed focused on the issues of crunch culture, but the other side of the coin was sadly a similarly sized mob fixated on the game's inclusion of gay romance subplots - even outrage about the character Abby's musculature.

Just to make my intentions clear, some of these games do have other circumstances surrounding them that could warrant a negative review and I'm not denying that. This list is more to demonstrate that these titles are generally also the subject of (ludicrous) right-wing/TERF/queerphobic/chud hatred, be it online or in the media.
TERFs went through the first 4 stages of grief and then looped back to stage 2 (anger) because of Bridget's story in Guilty Gear Strive.

I put Thatcher's Techbase on here more because of the negative press it got in the British media, especially after Jeremy Corbyn played it but I will remove it since it hasn't seen much of a pushback from the actual 'gamer' crowd.
