Where it lacks in chapter 2 as a whole, this game makes up for in every other area. More badges, more partner involvement, tougher enemies, more strategy, and more make this such a fun game. The side content in this and the original Paper Mario are also absurd.

Such an interesting and underrated platformer. While I get the hate for it not being an RPG game, the 2D 3D switching mechanic is probably one of my favorite mechanics of all time. It allows for endless secrets, and the characters alongside the side characters (while not as great as the partners of the first two games) are awesome. The ending is very depressing though.

An amazing game that lives in TTYD's shadow. While I think TTYD is the better game, this one is so much easier to come back to thanks to it being shorter overall and not really having any bad chapters. The combat system is superb and the story is interesting as well.

A great update of the original 4 NES games. Makes Lost Levels actually playable with lives being irrelevant, new graphics make it age extremely well, and it's definitely the definitive way to play these games. Part of me wishes though that they had added some new levels or remixed some stuff like they did on the GBA games, but alas.

A huge game for the NES and the new powerups are a lot of fun-if most of them weren't super rare or niche. The hammer suit is just a more powerful fire flower, same can be said for tanooki suit (although the statue mechanic is fun), and the frog suit is only great for water levels. Themes are pretty standard and many courses are surprisingly short, but all the cool secrets the game has along with all the new levels and mechanics make it fun. Only 3.5 stars though because NES controls are far from optimal and the graphics are alright at best.

Controls are incredibly stiff, multiple repeat levels with just a new mechanic thrown in, and overall pretty bland. While it's great for its legacy, as a game it does not really stand the test of time.

As someone who did not grow up with the controls, I think that they are very manageable as the game was built around the limited movement of the D-Pad. The 30 new stars are great for adding more in each level and adding a couple new ones, and the characters are definitely more fun of a concept than the power boxes from the original. While I played the minigames on NSMB they are much of the same and super addictive. Really my only gripes are that they didn't add any new full levels, which is a shame since a lot of the original levels had bland theming (2 snow, 2 water, and other basic Mario themes), while the new levels with very dynamic theming (fortress, beach, etc.) only had a single star. Also being spit out of levels every time was something they should have fixed.

So much to do and such a good-looking game with incredible music. There's always something new to discover in this game and it's the sort of game that I could play for hours on end.

Very hard but a lot of fun from what I played. The different strategies are very interesting and all of the bosses are fresh and unique.

Just as good as the first Galaxy game. Where it lacks in only having a couple stars per planet it makes up for in the million new mechanics it adds. Post-game is neat too, but green stars don't make old levels fun the way comets do.

Such a fun concept that is not really explored anywhere else aside from the sequel. The levels are top notch and the comets breathe new life into old levels. Even with all that Galaxy 2 added, this game is still amazing.

Such a clean and polished Smash Bros game. There are so many decent options and it can provide endless fun. Unlocking characters was tedious but rewarding. I can't think of any negatives.

So much fun to discover everything this game has to offer. There was a lot of confusing sections, but the combat system is so much fun.

Controls are manageable but it has all the same problems as Wii U Pikmin 3. The achievements system offers nothing & the "prologue & epilogue" are just glorified collect the treasures or battle enemies stages, which is very disappointing. Co-op story mode is great to have though.

Pikmin balancing is also horrible and the main campaign is way too easy. Electricity was nerfed way too much and the Formidable Oak just feels slow and tedious. Side modes carry this game.
