Red Dead Redemption 2 is the most overrated game of all time.

Story was good only during 2 chapters and those are 2 and 3.
Pacing is very slow and follows the same pattern. Gang moves somewhere, dutch tells them he has a plan, a shootout happens they leave to the next place. repeat for 6 chapters.
The epilogue is horribly paced two aggressively boring chapters where you do nothing but clunky and boring chores.

The gameplay is awful, combat is the same for the whole game.
The controls are clunky and unresponsive, the horse control especially.
The open world is empty and boring, its full of repeated generated encounters, and there's nothing to spend money on making exploration unrewarding and pointless.
Missions are scripted and fail for stupid reasons.

The best thing i can say about it , is that it looks good but thats not enough to warrant such accolades.

Massively overrated game

This game is my jam, it has charismatic characters and crime centered plot.
I feel so bad i didnt enjoy this as much as other people.

The story was good for some few chapters then it started to become a trainwreck.
The gameplay was exciting in the first hours but became boring quickly as i kept fighting the same baddies doing the same strategy.
I tried doing side quests but i found them pointless, most of them are pranks that had no meaning whatsoever.
I loved the world, Kamurocho is immersive and is packed with fun content and minigames.
The music is awesome.

I'm still not sure if i should play the rest of the series.
