Trans people can double jump and wavedash

Shadow the hedgehog haters becoming fans the second I Am All of Me starts playing

The game can be corny and stupid at times, but in the most Yakuza way possible, which is why I loved the game.
The game has some of the best battle themes so far, the gameplay is a massive improvement from 3 and the new characters are a welcome addition.
The story does not make sense sometimes and some plot twists are unnecessary, but they honestly did not affect my opinion too much on what was otherwise a great story with a sense of an "epic finale" to it.
TL;DR For Faith best Yakuza song

I went into this game completely blind, not having seen any trailers or any footage.
The first three hours in, it was a small decent indie game in my opinion. Nothing groundbreaking, but pretty nice and simple.
......until I finished Tower of Time, at which the game goes full throttle and reveals not only a 16-bit and 8-bit switching mechanic but that the game was actually a Metroidvania the whole time. At that moment you realize: "This game is fucking kino."

2019

When I reached the final level and Fishy went "It's time to get Fishy!!!!" I stood up, crying and clapping. Such a life changing experience.

It's genuinely impressive how I pretty much like everything about this game EXCEPT for Level Design and Gameplay Physics, the most important aspects of a Sonic Game
Renderware Sonic is one of my favorite Sonic styles and I really appreciate the environments and the enemy designs. But the janky physics, unbalanced gameplay, and the fact you basically play the same game 4 times with minor differences prevent me from actually enjoying it. The key system is pretty stupid too with how you have not to get hit through the stage to get the special levels.

Wow. This game was just......the game of all time. I mean, when I reached the final boss and Sonic said "It's time to stop you, Eggman, for I am: Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode I"tm", I started clapping and crying. The ending was intensely emotional and impactful, and probably has the best story next to Sonic Pinball Party. Especially when Sonic said, "It's time for a new Sonic 4: Episode II adventure!". A must-play for Sonic fans, and gamers around the world.

You can pull a 50-hit combo with Nostalgia Critic if you give this game anything other than 5 stars you do not deserve to play video games.

Despite the cryptic nature of the game and the fact that I had to look up a guide for several of the puzzles, It's definitely very impressive for the time it came out, especially being developed mostly by one person. The sound design is absolutely crunchy in the best way possible, the gunplay is actually neat and satisfying when pulled off right, and the visual rotoscope style is entertaining. The game is really short when you know what you're doing, but when you're playing for the first time you might get stuck sometimes. The checkpoint is mostly fair and starts you right back where you died. It will definitely piss you off, but it's an overall nice experience.

I'd honestly give the game a 10/10 solely for its movement and momentum physics. I would honestly love to see a custom workshop for this game, cause some people could design some really fantastic stages that could implement the physics. My biggest issue with the game was really the fact that it's really short, with it pretty much being a port of the flash game. The enemies are pretty basic too and can be killed easily with the abilities you unlock later on. Aside from that, definitely worth the 10$ price.

For such a simple gameplay loop of burning things down and then buying more stuff to burn, it manages to keep your attention with all the fun combinations and variations you can have with how you burn things down. It's really short, but doesn't overstay it's welcome.

It's a pretty short game only clocking in around an hour and a half if you know what you're doing, but god damn if it isn't one of the most memorable rhythm games ever. The best aspect of this game is easily its style and environments which just scream "2000's Dreamcast Era", coupled with the funky soundtrack. My biggest issue with the game is that some of the command lines sound muffled, so you end up having to guess the button to press for said command. Other than that, definitely worth checking out.
TLDR there is a mission where you save Space Michael Jackson

This honestly became one of my favorite games of all time. From the fast paced "speedrunning" nature of the gameplay, to the fantastic presentation of the game from it's Suda51 inspired graphics and unique soundtrack, and the corny but still entertaining story and the characters. Some of the dialogue can absolutely be silly, but it's never the main aspect and it feels like the devs know about it as well, so you can't help but appreciate the game's transparent humour. Absolutely worth your time, and definitely try getting all the collectibles for extra lore and stages to play.

When I reached the final boss and the main character said "It's Goblin chopping time!!!!!" I started clapping.
