Some people love this more than the original, some hate it more. I'm on the side where I think both it and its original counterpart are on equal levels. Both RE2 and RE2R have their upsides and downsides when it comes to comparing them. And personally? I think both deserve to be on the top.
Although I do prefer RE2R in terms of speedrunning. That game just flows much better with me.

Honestly, the best Resi game out there next to 4. There's something about the environment of RE2 that I love more than 1 and 3, even though 3 reuses similar locations in 2.

One of the most influential survival horror games of all time. Definitely one of the best games on the Gamecube when it came out. If you are going to play RE1, I do however, recommend playing the newer releases, as they're in many ways an improvement to the original Gamecube release.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I feel as if 8 was kinda underrated, especially since so many people were left soured by 7. Not much to say here except the same I said for 6. Great stages, weapons, and music. Honestly one of the more brutal Wily Castle's in my opinion, as well.

Next to 3,4, and 8, this one's easily the best of the original series as well. Weapons were great, stages were fun, music was amazing, the only problem is that I felt like the endgame was kinda weak, and might've been the easiest Wily Castle in the series (at least for me)

Originally thought this was gonna be a bad one, but really? Shocked me at how good it was. Added the best mechanic in the series with Charge Shot. Also Dust Man's stage is kinda morbid when you think about it.

Easily the best of the original series by far. Rush is one of the best additions in the series, and the soundtrack is one of the best as well.
