Pretty great but feels like it’s lacking something. Maybe I just prefer the more linear style of previous Soulsborne games, but the legacy dungeons feel too sparse and samey.
Don’t like having to use an item to allow signs to appear, and how you can only be invaded when you summon unless you use a specific item.
Bonus points for the cast including two Brummies.

It took forever and its pacing is all over the place. 3/4 of the game is fetch quests. If i truly hated it though I simply wouldn’t have bothered to finish it, so I guess a part of me likes it at least somewhat. I dunno, I just hope it gets better with the expansions like they say. We’ll see
Side note from the several months later, having now completed Endwalker - it gets much, much better and I’m very glad I stuck with it

Completed on veteran. Fuck grenades, man
The FPS genre peaked here, there will never be another game like this
Veteran is the ideal way to play, despite its difficulty and the non-stop grenades. In parts it feels impossible, but in others so fun. You truly feel like a soldier; run to cover and an enemy will throw a grenade to flush you out, forcing you to run somewhere else, when they’ll kill you in 3 hits
