I recommend Armoured Warriors and The Punisher as two more great Capcom beat 'em ups.

If you want to play something terrible for curiosity sake I recommend Haunted Castle. The worst Castlevania game....

Project Justice

Theres a lot of big name shmups here. I need to fix this and add some really obscure weirdies.

- Im Sorry - Pre-Sonic SEGA and their maze-game parody of a disgraced former Prime Minister. Yes really.
- On the Ball/Cameltry - An entire arcade game based around what would become the Sonic 1 bonus stages
- Rompers - A game where shoddy construction work can be used against enemies
- Growl - This is just 80s action movies distilled into a video game
- The Outfoxies - Smash Brother's great grandparent. Woo.
- Kid No Hore Hore Daisakusen - Looks cute, actually weirdly violent.
- Baluba-louk no Densetsu - Treasure Hunting time!

I also second @FallenGrace and recommending Haunted Castle. Just please play the Japanese version. It wont make the game better but at least you wont die in two hits quite as much.

Ketsui is a must play arcade shmup game, and it's still amazing today.
I recommend you check it out and play the other shmups developed by Cave as well to get some practice with shmups.

@rax Yeah, the two Cave SHUMPs I've played were great so I will be playing their entire catalogue.
