It does just enough to be more than just a star wars skin on a decent souls-like, but not enough to make me love it

The tropes set up in Demon's Souls are honed to a fine, if a bit rusty edge.
The interconnected, twisty map is a cool and unique feature, but not quite the sensation it's held up to be.
