I love smt but whoever designed this from the music to the dungeons had to be on some shit because they are insane thinking im going to sit through that, story concepts are phenomenal and if you want to just throw it on easy and roll through that part I could understand it but playing through with the encounters and level design made me want to find a new one to live my life

Probably my second fav of the series, really got me into the older games and helped me form an appreciation for the new battle systems and changes. A lot of new things are done here and I am a fan of most but this being my first made the older yakuza feel slower or clunkier than if I went in order. Atleast the rpg elements were easy to digest and Ichi is the coolest dragon quest schizo in the world
After playing KH1 and being moderately bored or disappointed with the fanfare it received I jumped straight into 2. Same feelings as the first game but this KH2 controls exceptionally and is fun to explore from beginning to end, if you have any interest in it. The game is good but I have to accept the series is not for me as I can’t be hooked on what’s happening on my screen as I just never start to care but I can tell im playing a decent game since the urge to turn it off only happens when im in a cutscene. I know the fans will hold this one as their savior as the best ps2 game but when it comes to me caring about anything happening on the screen this game just can’t do anything for me outside of some fun fights and goofy voices. Great game but maybe just too late for me to care about anything going on in it. I am excited for KH4 because if they can make something half as fun as this then add a storyline I can mesh with it could easily be an magical experience

I don’t know how you could enjoy a game like this without friends. It’s a headache to play and look at then to top it of any enjoyment you could get from any cosmetics to add personality is severely overpriced or bundled in a way that seems like a waste. Poorly mismanaged IP that could have maybe been something cool if it didn’t release on PlayStation only with a limited audience already

Everything about Octopath 1 that was great is now transferred over to 2 and amped up. Stories, Characters, Fights, Locations, Music is all consistent and improved upon in this release. After getting 3 members i couldn’t stop playing the game it was the rpg for me to play in 2023 and I felt a bit sad after beating the final epilogue boss. Overall great game from every aspect i expect my jrpgs to be at
