What happens when you mix in former member of the Eastern Bloc Jazzpunk with a Boomer Shooter.

Definitely shows a few signs of its age, but this is clearly where the Mario franchise takes the form and quality we know and love today.

Kind of wild to think how many iconic Mario enemies exist because of a reskin of a random game.

Definitely feels like it starts to fall apart at the end, way too much talking and non-stunnable "big" enemies, but overall a solid Tales game.

More games need to let you play as a duck, anthropomorphized or otherwise.

Shows more of a spark then something like Forces, but this just feels bad to play a lot of the time. Whoever thought a freaking run button in a Sonic game was a good idea is on my people I hate list.

Solid little Puzzle/Walking Sim game with a Lovecraftian bent.

Non-ironically one of the best things to come out involving Sonic in recent years (low bar I know).

Was having a blast for the first few levels, but the overly long cutscenes that felt like they went nowhere (more fun interactions between the three leads and less cliche plot please) and the later levels & bosses being more frustrating then fun weighed down on me by the end.

Heard nothing but good things about the recently released 2nd game and this showed enough promise for me to want to check that out at some point.

It's Portal, now with fancy lighting. Good tech demo to show off full path-tracing if you've got the hardware for it and Portal is still a great game to revisit (even if it feels proof of concept to the perfection that is Portal 2).

Starts out super strong, but definitely loses some steam after the prologue and the plot veers a bit too much into predictable territory.

Still had a really good time and it's worth a playthrough if you enjoy VNs.

Hopefully this kicks off the decade of Wario Land clones.

That last sequence has to be up there in all time video game troll moves.
