"You have no honor."
"And you are a slave to it!"

Okay, so before my second playthrough I didn't quite get the hype. Yeah, I thought it was great but not anywhere near some people placed it, and I still don't have it that high, but I do recognize why people have it there.

Admittedly, my opinion on the gameplay itself has gone down from my last playthrough. It's good, but towards the end enemies just get too tanky for my liking and some materials for upgrades are hard as hell to collect.

The open world is stunningly beautiful, I'd say it's even better than Red Dead Redemption 2, and while not as packed with detail or stuff to do, there are still plenty of activities to occupy your time. Not to mention the absolutely fucking incredible OST to accompany it.

The story is great. The characters are even better. Killing Lord Shimura this time probably helped me see. Jin Sakai is a great example of how to write a character, even if he's still not better than Sucker Punch's best protagonist, Cole MacGrath.

Overall, I overhated it, game is fantastic. Still kinda overrated by some people

89/100.

I did like 1/3 of this before I got frustrated and watched the cutscenes on YouTube. Ragnarök is fun, but like, this is too repetitive. The story is great though, I love seeing Kratos' journey come full circle.

"Hey, chin up. I know the night just got darker, but it won't last forever."

Fallout 4 is definitely a good game, overhated because what came before was better (not that I'd know, I've never played them).

While the gameplay was relatively lackluster and it felt like I was either one-shotting or mag dumping every enemy, it was pretty fun. Building up the camps was fun at first, but quickly became tedious when resources got short and more survivors joined. Not to mention me not being able to figure out how powering lights works.

The story was serviceable, while I have a few minor grievances they aren't nearly big enough to go on a tangent about. My biggest gripe was that some times the response prompts would not make it easy to figure out what I'd actually end up saying (or I'm just dumb). The characters, on the other hand, were pretty great. My favorite companion (besides Dogmeat, of course), is Nick Valentine, and boy did they cook with him. A cop with a heart of gold and instincts of steel from before the Great War who's consciousness got put into a prototype synth who has to grapple with the fact that he isn't actually Nick Valentine? Peak. Other supporting characters like Deacon and Preston Garvey were great too, especially Preston (Minutemen best faction).

80/100.
Deathclaws suck to fight, especially without power armor.

It's almost as good as the first game, but a few things hold it back:
- The third act
- Miles plot and new powers
- The gadgets
- Miles' new suit

Some things it does better though, in my opinion, are:
- combat
- traversal
- MJ Missions are fucking awesome

Yeah it's disappointing. Unfortunately. I had high hopes. Might be a higher rating when I play it for myself.

Anyway thank you theRadBrad I love you man you a savior🙏

I think I'm just bad cause I can't beat the second boss (I don't wanna do the side missions to level up)

"I love you brother, and I'm sure gonna miss you."

inFAMOUS Second Son is such a fun game. The powers are creative, the effects, especially sfx, are fantastic, and the combat is satisfying.

The story is relatively weak, especially compared to the first two games, but the characters are still pretty good, on the good karma route at least. It's pretty clear they didn't think too hard about there actually being an evil playthrough because it's incredibly unsatisfying and the dialogue in neutral scenes isn't changed to show your alignment.

Delsin, as a protagonist is decently likable. He's not too heroic, unlike Cole, and he's not that funny (except for a couple specific jokes). The side characters are pretty good, Fetch and Reggie stand out the most to me, especially Reggie in a good karma run and Fetch in evil karma. Eugene and others are pretty eh, except Celia I really enjoyed the Paper Trail side missions and her character.

Augustine is not a great villain, to be honest. She's supposed to be a hateable villain until it's revealed why she founded the D.U.P., and it didn't really work, because she continued being unlikable.

The soundtrack, though, is by far the best part of the game. It's so peak.

85/100.

"I've had everything handed to me on a goddamn silver platter. Everything except for this."

Incredible game. The visuals are still stunning even 7 years later, the environments are absolutely gorgeous and the character models look great. The story, but more importantly the characters are phenomenal, and the soundtrack is amazing. Only gripe is that it is fucking impossible to play the game without aim lock on because of the sensitivity and bloom (or maybe I just suck).

This shit froze three fucking times and in total I lost like 2 hours of progress because of it.

"A man chooses, a slave obeys."

Great game overall, the atmosphere was fantastic but some times the hordes of enemies at a time got annoying, the amount of awesome fucking God powers and sick ass guns you're given makes it bearable though. Story was good, I guess. I don't really know.

80/100

Seeing Lee with Clem again after she got shot genuinely made me break down, I had to take a small break, I've never had that happen with a game before.

This has to be the most immersed I've ever been in a game, when Clem was threatened, I got angry, when people died, I cried, when decisions had to be made, I was scared. Truly an incredible job Telltale did on this. Not to mention that the art style is perfect and the soundtrack is hauntingly beautiful.

Genuinely one of the best games I've ever played and I cannot wait to play the other seasons, 97/100.

I will have to do another playthrough where I make better decisions, because, as I found out, I do not make good decisions in the heat of the moment.

This was, to say the least, not very good. I can acknowledge when a game simply hasn't aged well and when it just wasn't good from the beginning, and this is a case of the latter.

Tomb Raider tries to be so edgy to the point it's just weird, what's the point of putting Lara though so much trauma? And the brutal death scenes? It just doesn't fit very well.

The story, to be blunt, was shit. At no point did I ever care about any of the stakes or characters. The game did not do a good job at getting me to care whatsoever.

The gameplay is similarly bad. It's repetitive, tedious, and boring. It has the same problem that Uncharted: Drake's Fortune had, where there's horde after horde of enemies with only mind-numbingly stupid puzzles in-between, the difference is, Tomb Raider was made by an experienced studio in 2013, while Uncharted was made by a studio rather inexperienced in the genre in 2007.

Overall, Tomb Raider is just another piss & shit filter, dark & gritty, nothing story shooter from the late 2000s and early 2010s, and it is incredibly forgettable. They tried to be Uncharted but edgy, and failed, miserably. Getting through this game was a genuine struggle as I felt like playing something better about 15 minutes into each play session. Although the one thing I can praise about this game is the atmosphere, it does that quite well.

Also, didn't really raid any tombs, 40/100.

(Corvo; High Chaos)

It's great, but the first one is better. The story here felt kind of weaker, and I didn't like the fact that Corvo talked so much, since it took away from his character. Also was disappointed by the lack of returning characters, I like Sokolov but I really missed the presence of characters like Piero and Samuel. Overall, upgraded gameplay, downgraded story and characters. I'll do a Emily low chaos run at a later date.

Good ending was, unsurprisingly, a lot better. Also the credits music is so peak.
