Cyberpunk 2077 is a fuckin' phenomenal story with brilliant writing and acting bringing everything together. Only reason I can't give it five stars is 'cause on the PS4 it's genuinely unplayable some times. I'm sure that when I eventually get a PC, I'll play this game on there and love it even more, and finally be able to give it that five stars (as well as being able to play the DLC).

Dying Light 2 is just... painfully mid.
Maybe it's me just being unhappy at the moment but the gameplay just isn't that fun until after you finish the story (which sucks btw). The characters and story are still painfully bad, and there's no amount of updates that can fix that. The store is frankly really stupid and the new(ish) bounties and mission systems are super grindy and tedious. They finally added guns! Hooray, right? Unfortunately not. All the guns besides the basic pistol are locked behind incredibly grindy bounty missions and it might have been the absolute worst way to implement them. It's also still super buggy (on PS4, at least). All I can say is that the graphics look a lot better and the Tolga & Fatin mission is kinda cool.

Overall, really fucking disappointing.

"This time... It has to be different."

I cannot stress this enough.

Resident Evil 4 is peak gaming.

I love everything about this game.

Yet I have nothing new to say about it.

It's a perfect re-imagining of the original classic, the gameplay is fun and challenging, the graphics look fantastic, the score is incredible, and the characters are surprisingly well written for Resident Evil. This game helped solidify Leon S. Kennedy as one of my favorite characters of all time. This game also released on my birthday last year, so I appreciate the birthday gift Capcom (even if I got it a year late).

So much potential, yet David Cage loses the vision so quickly (except Kara, that was always doomed.)

Good songs, fun gameplay, horribly priced instruments in the shop.

Started off real weak but got better over time, still wasn't great though.

Was fun at first but got really boring really quick, not a Minecraft killer.

What a profound game, made me rethink my life. Super fun puzzles and great atmosphere.

Horrendous game design got me so angry I broke my headphones, fuck my life.

Some of the levels were hard but I'm also stupid

2021

A really fun and interesting short game, I would gladly pay for this instead of playing it on Cool Math Games if it was expanded upon.

I can acknowledge that this is metal as fuck but it's honestly just not my kind of game, would've rather just watched this as an anime or something.

I don't got much to say about this one, it's alright, certainly better than 2013. The gunplay was solid, graphics were great, and the soundtrack was goated. But on the other hand the game is needlessly tedious towards the end and the story/characters are still incredibly boring. It also felt like there was a lot of just filler climbing mechanics? Like why did you need a grappling hook (which you have no control over which makes it not very fun) when you already introduced the grapple rope arrow? Why did you need climbing arrows when you already had the pickaxes? They certainly could've tried harder, once again, the best contribution this game had to the industry was SFM porn.

Not the mention the plot is literally just Uncharted 2.

70/100

"You have no honor."
"And you are a slave to it!"

Okay, so before my second playthrough I didn't quite get the hype. Yeah, I thought it was great but not anywhere near some people placed it, and I still don't have it that high, but I do recognize why people have it there.

Admittedly, my opinion on the gameplay itself has gone down from my last playthrough. It's good, but towards the end enemies just get too tanky for my liking and some materials for upgrades are hard as hell to collect.

The open world is stunningly beautiful, I'd say it's even better than Red Dead Redemption 2, and while not as packed with detail or stuff to do, there are still plenty of activities to occupy your time. Not to mention the absolutely fucking incredible OST to accompany it.

The story is great. The characters are even better. Killing Lord Shimura this time probably helped me see. Jin Sakai is a great example of how to write a character, even if he's still not better than Sucker Punch's best protagonist, Cole MacGrath.

Overall, I overhated it, game is fantastic. Still kinda overrated by some people

89/100.
