Retro Revival

Retro Revival is video game movement that relies on the nostalgia of retro games while also pushing the limits of retro games by using its modern hardware to do what retro games couldn't do.

Remakes, remasters, ports, compilations do not count unless they do more than just making an old game playable on older hardware. Sequels that push the game into being more modern while leaving behind most of the retro elements of the game such as Streets of Rage IV and Mega Man 2 also do not count.
