This game is very confusing but I like it. I spent more time wandering around lost than actually fighting anything. Think Sisyphus and his eternal boulder – that's the kind of endless struggle you're in for. If you enjoy figuring out puzzles with zero clues, and love the feeling of being hopelessly disoriented in a maze, then it might be worth a try.

Got the platinum trophy for the game that impacted my life the most.

I started playing this game literally the day after I finished Dread. And I was completely amazed by the amount of aspects that I find in modern Medtroidvanias was cranked up to eleven here. The secrets are plentiful and I expect that it will take many more playthroughs before I can find everything. The areas are distinct but can still come across as being on the same planet. But what elevates this above Dread for me is the ambiance. This is one of the most nerve-wracking games I've ever played. The design of the areas and enemies, the music and that the story is just Samus going to Zebes to rescue the Baby Metroid. I never felt like I could feel safe because of what I listed above and that the story has a slight sense of urgency. It is simple, but you still feel like you've gone through an adventure in the end. And the climax is so great on so many levels that I will not spoil it. Despite my only problem being that sometimes it's unclear on where to go next, I will in the future always be delighted to replay this... everytime I buy NS online that is.

Why wasn't Gooigi an alternative skin for Luigi in Ultimate?

I'm moving to hell. The residents of Inkwell Isle are more dangerous than the Devil.

Gameplay: We waited eight years for this!

Rest in peace. Thanks for introducing my to this world and for that DJ Octavio battle.

You have no idea how much that spin you can do in mid-air in the later games messes with your muscle memory.

Sonic at one point calls a boss battle the BBBE ”Best Boss Beating Ever”. It’s nice that the game thinks they’re more fun than what I do. If only they could be as good as the levels.

im not putting this in my top 5 because im not like you other fihs

Shigeru Miyamoto, You Fucking legend How did you come up with this!?

If you think of a game that completely streams infinite charm, Kirby 64 should be one of the first names that will come to mind.

This title is absolutely adorable, featuring some of the most expressive world and characters of its time, and an adventure that doesn't just screams personality in its writing, cutscenes, memorable characters and really enjoyable multiplayer modes, but also in its gameplay.

The main mechanic of this title, unique even compared to the rest of the srries, is the ability to combine abilities together to create a surprisingly amount of different trasformations, each of them with their own gimmick. Some of them are sick and really effective, while others are useless or straight up a joke.... but that is the charm of discovering and using them.

You feel like living a goofy Hanna-Barbera skit for the amount of funny absurdity and cute moments you will witness, while having fun with the always solid Kirby formula.

Personally I feel compared to other games from the series, it has some flaws: it can feel to slow for most of the runtime, the requirements to achieve the "True Ending" (WHICH YOU SHOULD TRY TO GET) can be tedious and lead to replay levels over and over again, and the lack of a higher difficulty can turn it into a less enjoyable titles, especially compared to the difficulty options of later Kirby titles.

But aside from these flaws, Kirby 64 is an absolute charm! A must-have for the time, and a title able to stand out even today!

For what it represent, on paper F-Zero 99 should have been a disappointing release: fans of the series have begged Nintendo for a new game or even a port of older titles for decades, just to get the "Tetris 99" version of what many consider the weakest title of the franchises.... a title that may potentially be shut down in the future, considering the limited runs of similar Switch projects.

But after playing it.... you get it! This is a great addition for any Switch player.
It takes the adrenaline inducing energy and speed, and the risk-reward boos system... and puts 98 other players into the circuit, creating a exelerating multyplayer experience that I feel surpasses the chaos of past 99 titles.

Being a free-to-play experience means that it is pretty limited in its scope. The various modes and tracks go on rotation, it's doesn't add a lot of variety in customization and overall designs, and I kinda wish more pilots where playable (I know we got the main 4 from the OG F-zero, but it would be cool to see some X newcomers recreated in the SNES design, Like Mighty Gazelle, Jody Summers or Black Shadow).

Bu the costant additions of modes and circuits, alongside the costant stream of online players makes it an always enjoyable experience.

If this will not be a side mode in a future F-Zero, I will feel betrayed. Icredible udea and realization.
