Silt is a decent game, but it does get a bit annoying in its later sections. Luckily, it's not long, so it doesn't hurt the game too much. I loved the artstyle though, and I'd say that's the main reason why it's worth playing. Looked wonderful on an OLED. It just feels like some of the later parts could've used more playtesting, but if you can look past that, not bad. I'd say get it during a sale.

I wish there was more to the gameplay, but it's a charming little game with a great artstyle and sweet music. It's a good, chill time for what it is.

Decent game, but it's definitely the worst I've played out of the first four Yakuza games. Some of the boss battles are pure garbage. The story is still good though and it's worth experiencing for that. Some fun substories here and there too, plus the kids at the orphanage are very charming. Get it during a sale.

Masterpiece. The only reason why I'm not giving it 5 stars is because some of the controls can be a bit annoying. That's it though. The artstyle, the music, the colossi are all fantastic. This game is something truly special.

It's not a bad game, but it does have a lot of flaws. That said, let's start with the positives. The game looks and sounds great. It also has a pretty charming story, although there's not much to it. The job system is also very cool, even though I didn't use it to its fullest potential. There's a lot you can do with the various classes. That's my problem with this game though: It has so much potential, but doesn't go anywhere with it. The story is laughably thin. You'd think the story would be more substantial, considering it's a SNES Final Fantasy game, but it's barely there. This is especially disappointing, coming from FFIV. Heck, the main villain is called Exdeath. It's so ridiculously stupid. When I first started the game, I was loving it, with pirate ships, adventure and whatnot. I was excited to see the story evolve, but it's a typical, bland cartoony story.

Then there's the pacing. It takes a dive in the second half. The game starts to feel bloated and keeps going on and on after a while, making you wonder when it's going to stop. Not only that, but the game is filled with gimmick bosses. A lot of the time, I was overleveled with good gear, but I still couldn't beat certain bosses. Ahh, but there's a trick to this boss. He attacks you every time you use physical attacks, or he can only be damaged by magic and so on. Felt like so many of the bosses didn't take any skill, you just had to know the right gimmick to take them down. This is pretty disappointing when Final Fantasy bosses have always been great in the sense that you feel like the whole team is coming together with good equipment, taking down bosses, giving you a satisfying feeling, but instead, you just have to find out the gimmick. A lot of bosses were annoying like that.

All in all, not a bad game, but certainly one of the weaker Final Fantasy games. Get it during a sale if you want to try out the cool job system, just don't expect a deep story like in IV or VI.

This was pretty good. Definitely the best out of the three original Final Fantasy games. It has a simple, but still pretty sweet story. Combat and job systems are great, and it's nowhere near as grindy as FF2. Random encounter rate is lower too, which is definitely nice. The world is way more fun compared to 1 and 2 as well, and you get a wonderful sense of adventure. Some things are still repetitive, but I would recommend it for sure.

Fantastic game. I had a blast with the combat, but I eventually had to turn it to the hardest difficulty because it got easy with all the upgrades. Still, with wonderful visuals, great music, an impactful story and fun gameplay, it's hard to go wrong with Ghost of Tsushima.

Great game. Full of random point and click wonder that I enjoy and never frustrating either. Featuring fantastic art, good music, lovely sound design, it definitely reminds me of Amanita Design when it comes to its, well, design. That's a big compliment though, so I think they did an incredible job.

Pretty fun game for what it is. I encountered some bugs, but it was enjoyable overall, especially considering it's free.

Quantum Break is a decent game, but it has some major issues. First of all, the story isn't the best, and you have to literally watch a show within the game. I'm talking 20-25 minute episodes. The story does get interesting at times, but also boring and cliché at other times. The game looks very good though. That's definitely a positive, but it runs terribly. I have a high end card from 2023, but the game keeps stuttering like crazy, even though it originally ran on a 900p/30fps Xbox One console. It makes no sense why the game runs this bad on PC. For the stuttering alone, I have to give it a negative review. Might be worth it on a deep sale, however.

I finally got around to playing Final Fantasy II, but I didn't like it that much. The story has more to it than the first game, but it's still pretty simple and forgettable. That isn't even a problem though. The problem is the extremely grindy gameplay, and enemies that spawn way too often. It becomes a chore just to play through this game after a while. It was pretty fun at the start: magic and weapons level up as you use them, but in the later stages of the game, it takes forever for magic to level up. Also, you do a lot of the same stuff over and over again. Talk to the princess, walk to objective while fighting a bunch of enemies, navigate overly long and samey dungeons with way too many encounters, then return to the princess. It gets very repetitive. Still, the music and atmosphere are pretty good, but I would say this is probably my least favourite Final Fantasy out of those I've finished. I will give it a positive review though, because the Pixel Remaster makes it a lot better. You can turn of encounters if you feel like you've had enough for one area, you can speed up leveling and/or battles, and you can even switch to the original soundtrack if you want. For those reasons, it barely gets a nod from me.

Yakuza 0 is one of the most hilarious games of all time, but also has an incredibly moving story. The combat is a blast and many of the side activities are fun as hell too. With great voice acting as well, sweet music and a top notch story; don't miss out on this one.

Pretty fun game. The combat is a blast, the music is pretty good and the visuals are amazing for a small game like this. Would highly recommend, especially if it's on sale.

This sequel is fun, but I prefer the first game because of its exploration-focused gameplay where you get to known people and take your time. You just take your time and enjoy the atmosphere in that one. Here, you're always on the move, which led me to forget the NPCs and what they wanted. Never got that fun community vibe of the first game. The gameplay loop can be pretty damn fun at least, but the last part of the game where you have to do 4 things TWICE is a pain the ass. Just felt repetitive and uninspired. It's a decent enough game though.
