A fun little cover shooter adventure game which holds up reasonably well for being 15 years old. Gun play feels dated but isn't bad and there's a nice variety in weapons.
The climbing mechanics while simple feel fun and satisfying to use especially when paired with some of the big set piece moments.
The game is about 9 - 11 hours long and I found normal a good difficulty choice as there's plenty of gunfights where it's easy to die and especially late game you'll be punished for not using cover effectively.
The characters all have bags of personality and the main villain, Lazarovic, is a big angry bald army general who is a stereotype bad guy.

Good story, great visuals and satisfying combat. The father son relationship was really well done and all the characters were well written and voiced. Would recommend starting on normal difficulty and changing to hard later when you unlock more abilities and get used to the combat

I remember playing this rubbish game for a few hours for 1000 gamerscore. How sad I was

A game I found quite challenging and had always intended to return to having only spent a couple of hours playing. The high difficulty level and style of combat are bit offputting to me personally

Back when ultimate team wasn't an out of control beast

Probably the most forgettable of the series alongside 4

The ending isn't the awful experience you'd be led to believe its just a 'meh' ending for a trilogy which was excellent

Made lots of saves in this game. Just a great RPG and stood out massively in its day

Saints Row franchise peaked here

Buggy mess of a game with a dreadful story

The proper intro to ultimate team which was a mode I loved for a few years until it became ridiculous. Also the pinnacle of Pro Clubs for me with me and my friends logging hundreds of games, another mode which eventually fell away in the franchise

2010

The eerie creepy design was absolutely nailed with this one

Quite a unique experience that birthed the 'Doubt' meme

Both New Vegas and Fallout 4 are better games but I played this on release week and I'll never forget stepping out of the vault into the wasteland for the first time
