It's a really crappy pinball game that is hard as hell to beat, but also it's incredibly fun. The stages are interesting but also frustrating, and the mini games that happen can kick you in the ass. If you're playing this on the Genesis Collection with a save state/rewind ability, then the game is a hell lot more bearable.
Regardless, I loved the game as a kid, still love it as an adult, no matter how glitchy it is.

Between the WiiU version and this version, I've clocked in a little over 500 hours. This is definitely one of the best musou games to ever come out. The story is serviceable and gives some interesting scenarios and the music is absolutely amazing. The rock core versions of classic Zelda songs are eargasms for me.
The gameplay too, almost every characters have different playstyles depending on what weapon you choose for them, some are awesome and others are just plain goofy, like Link getting the spinner or even the Great Fairy as a weapon! And there are many different characters from all the different Zelda games of the past and some original ones. My favorite was Lana, and also my most hated (lol).
But what REALLY made me love this game was the Adventure Mode. Originally what you got was a grid based game mode where each square is a different challenge with different prerequisites. And the grid is based off the original Legend of Zelda overworld map. And over time you unlock either new outfits or weapons or characters. Eventually DLC was released (or in the definitive edition it was already caked into the game) and released even more maps with even more challenges, all based on different games, like Majora's Mask. Each of these maps had their own set of rules you must follow in order to complete them. THIS is what took all of my time, I love these, they were great to do. Some of them, though, were some of the hardest challenges I have ever done, specifically anything that had to do with Lana. It can kick you in the nuts and smirk at you without hesitation.
Regardless of all that, there's so much content here that it's worth every penny to play this. One of the best times I ever had on both Switch and the WiiU!

This is my favorite Smash Bros. game, but because it was competitive. It introduced some awesome levels and the music was amazing for the most part, and it introduced some more fighters, one of which became my permanent main (peach). I remember always doing the Event Match levels, they were my favorite thing to do in the game, unlocking things and doing usual match ups were my thing back in the day.
The other big memory is that my friends would always come over and play this with me, always going to Hyrule Temple and going to the underside and just whack each other until we were bouncing off every wall of the stage.
It was a memorable experience, and it's why I think Smash is a great game, despite me not really playing much of it anymore.
The competitive part is interesting, but I also think it kinda ruins the chaotic part of the game that I enjoy so I don't think its necessary in this or in any game. (FInal Destination is so boring I don't get it! lol)

It was a decent time, not as memorable or my favorite, especially since i believe Ultimate did everything better in it.

But regardless, love the new fighters in it, and the dlc reveals for it were hype, especially the Bayonetta one.

The 3DS version felt a little better tbh, it had the better single player modes.

One of the very first PSX games i have ever played. I love the aesthetic to this very day and it was a very clever puzzle game. I really wished they would remaster it or just port it over to something like the Switch, just to relive the memories of this.

(btw i was very young, I'm sure I didn't solve many of these puzzles...but my babysitter helped alot with this, lol)

Ain't no way im playing this by myself, let along on my own computer! Thank you Game Grumps for the experience, lol. Scary stuff to manipulate you're computer like that. :P

When I was working at gamestop, this was one of the free copies the company gave me, and my other coworkers also got the game, so the three of us would always play. After getting through halfway through the game, I was so bored and annoyed over the game that I just dipped out our sessions and completely gave up on it. It's not a great zelda game in terms of presentation...it doesn't do much in that. And the dungeons are borderline horrible. The only good takeaway for this game is that the outfits were pretty awesome.
I'll never play this game again ..lol

To get it out of the way, yes this is the best Mickey mouse game. The levels are great the music is great and the bosses are fun and it's not too easy or too hard. I recommend it to anyone who could find a copy.

With that out of the way, sometimes you're not in the right headspace and life hits you hard sometimes. Sometimes you need to have thought of great memories or just need something that you can use as a coping mechanism. Video games usually do that for me, cuz sometimes I deal with thoughts or moments of life that put you tbeough darkness. This game, whether I played it recently or not, usually helps me get through whatever I'm thinking because of the memories I share as a child. This is just one of those rare instances where maybe sharing this not only helps myself but maybe someone else who just needs a little escapism. Srry it's a little much maybe but that's how much the game means to the little goddess in me!

What I remember the most about super smash is that I never really owned it? I rented it out weekend and week out for almost an entire year have Blockbuster. Certainly I invested more in the game than I should have LOL. But unlocking the secret characters and doing the arcade mode with all the characters were such a fun time and playing with friends at home, great memories.

Although I never owned this game, I did play this co-op with friends while I was at work at GameStop. It was an absolute blast! One of my favorite aspects of the game are the musical levels, I'm a sucker for any game that has rhythm in it. It was one of those games we played on the switch while at work to show off the co-op capabilities. So it was a decent memory. If I owned it and played more of it it probably rate a little bit higher. Not to mention the graphics and the gameplay itself is also phenomenal. High recommendation for anyone who wants to play a co-op

It's a great game but not a memorable Mario game. It has some pretty good platforming and the levels all do their job, but in all honesty, the only thing I can remember from paying this are that the bosses were a good time, and the big queen Bee.
OH! The music is great here, I can listen to the soundtrack any day. But that's about it here, not my favorite Mario game for sure..

EDIT: Throwback Galaxy wasn't even in this game...dang lol

Quick little review for this one: This is the only roguelike that I have ever beaten! lol! It's a very solid game reminiscent to the top down Zelda games but with more psycho mothers and poop. It was a good time, I'd get it on switch but it's always so dang expensive!

So my experience is weird with this one, as I didn't originally play it at home. In fact, i played this as part of a school project in my middle school, to learn about different aspect of a city and how to create a functioning one.
At first I thought it was a slog, and not understanding it....but after I played it everyday so school it just clicked!
Finding different answers to how the electrical worked or how to maintain a budget and keep everyone happy was amazing for my little 12 year old self. When i finally got a computer in my teens, I "borrowed" a copy from school that was never opened and i downloaded it, and it was lovely!
The other little things are fun too, like the cheats or just trying to make a dystopia...or just have some crazy weather come out of nowhere and destroy everything!
I think of it every now and then, sometimes you get that itch to make a little city and watch it thrive....or...burn it to the ground, for the fun of it of course! ;)

If I had to tell you what is the perfect game, that does everything right for you, what game would it be? For me, it absolutely would be Mega Man X. MMX has to be the most perfect game that I have ever played, with all the music being absolute bangers, having memorable stages and memorable bosses as well!
First this game does a tutorial level that is disguised as the first level. It does what Mario games usually do, give you a small obstacle or problem layed out before you and has you figure out how to handle it yourself. Then it'll give you a different challenge that allows you to play around with what you have just learned. It's fantastic how fluid these sequences are and that's only in the first level!
It also gives you small story cutscenes where it gives you the incentive to become stronger than Zero, the other reploid that is out to get Sigma, and through the game you are gathering new armor pieces for X and the powerups from the bosses, thus getting stronger and stronger. You gotta love simple story telling that gives you a clear motif.
Besides all of those, all of the levels are clever and, if you are good enough, can breeze through them with ease. In fact if you know the order of stages you should go through, the levels themselves may change depending on what you have done to the prior stages.
There are secrets to find as well, whether its increasing your health or gaining energy tanks, it's fun finding everything to get yourself stronger....there is also another secret you can find after you find all the other secrets...but uh I'll let you figure out that one.
The music is amazing too, if I can a couple song to listen to, it would be Armored Armadillo's stage and Storm Eagle...both are crazy amazing!!!
Everyone please play this game, this is game design done completely right!

This is a polarizing game for me to play. On one hand, I do love the atmosphere of the game, even if its ugly, lol. I also love the music and the side quests that this game delivers, it's some of the best side content a Zelda game has ever had. And some of the dungeons are fun and memorable..so why exactly do I rate it so low? The time!
I hate the time gimmick so much, even though there's ways that you can control the speed of time....the problem for me that wants to 100% complete all the Zelda games is it feels super stressful to try and get everything done within a certain time limit. There are times where it becomes super frustrating, especially if you're on the final day. Sometimes i can't get a dungeon done in time and I would have to do everything all over again in a dungeon, it's totally not cool.
The other main issue I have with it is the sense of starting over, and everything goes back to how it is...like the movie Groundhog Day...you keep repeating days over and over that for whatever reason irritates me to no end!
It's a game I would go back to eventually, but it's one of my least favorite mainline Zelda games.... -_-
