I wanted to loves this, but FF7 hasn't aged well. There sure is a great plot and an interesting world to explore, but I just couldn't deal with the cumbersome navigation through blurry backgrounds, fighting animations that are infuriatingly slow and bewildering tonal inconsistencies.

Although I never played the original, this cosy RPG feels incredibly nostalgic. The brief platformer sections are pretty annoying though.

Adorable virtual holiday with a cute artstyle and wonderful soundscape. Perfectectly sized to play through in a single session.

This childhood classic holds a special place in my heart and the presentation is still wonderful. However, the fighting system and story seem a bit basic in retrospect.

Cruel and beautiful. Sekiro will break you down and lift you up, if you persist.

Maybe there is a good game hidden beneath the mountain of clumsy design decisions. The Mantis quest was awesome though.

This soulslike has it all: nerve-wracking fights, a motivating RPG system and lots of style and atmosphere.

With this maximalist take on the Zelda formula established by Breath of the Wild, Nintendo turns everything up to 11. More playful, even bigger and better in almost every aspect, this game makes the predecessor obsolete.

Venba manages to tell a touching story about cultural belonging and parent-child relationships in a shorter time than it would take to make one of the tasty looking meals you are cooking in this game.

Soothes the soul, just like a short hike in the woods does.

Ghostwire Tokyo is a mediocre game cosplaying a good one.

Outstanding remaster of the GameCube classic with awe inspiring atmosphere and awesome exploration. The backtracking was a little tedious at times though.

I'm sad to have finished this masterpiece but happy to have my life back.

Great platformer with the classic collectathon formula a la Banjo-Kazooie rounded off with a dash of Pikmin. Don't sleep on this!

High on Life is completely insane and also a surprisingly good old school feeling shooter.
