A contradiction of itself through and through.
Anything this game attempts to argue or make a point for, it falls into the issues it’s attempting to bring up, both in-game and in CDPR’s business practices. It also just fails to accomplish what it attempts to say.
Oh; it plays and runs like shit too.

While certainly not the best in the Soulsborne series, being the first of the games I played at launch along with the ideas and concepts the game improved upon makes it one of my favorites.
Powerstancing goes crazy

The game that hooked me.
The game up until O&S is perfect and becomes a bit less memorable towards the end, but everything in the game feels great. Despite the world breathing its dying breath, the game still finds ways to bring whimsy to the setting and makes the whole world come to life.
Would smash my head against this brick wall again anytime.

For some reason, the game never quite hooked me the same the previous two or other soulsborne titles grabbed me.
It’s still a souls game to its core and has plenty of memorable moments, but I was never able to finish the game my first time playing (probably due to a vacation I took at the time) and haven’t been able to get as far in attempts to replay it. I do have gripes with the poise system and the change to weapon skills lessening the weapon moveset and skill variety, but it’s still a great game. One day I’ll finish it.

After revisiting this game after writing this review, the game plays better than I remember, absolutely buttery smooth and I think I have come to the realization that nothing will ever top this kart racer.
This beats the piss out of MK8 any day of the week.
CTR’s drift boost mechanic should be the standard, not the MK’s drift boost and I’ll die on this hill.

Doesn’t looks a candle to CTR, but I still spent countless hours playing this as a kid.

CTR is still the peak of arcade kart racing games, and it’s sad how it went from that to blatantly copying the gimmick of Double Dash. Overworld stuff is still kinda fun, and none of this stopped me from playing it a shitton as a kid.

2020

Incredible. Play it.
The game was robbed of GOTY awards.

Fun to screw around a bit, but gets old quick.
Had it on release on the ps3 and tried to get into the story but nothing was grabbing me. Not a game for me

Wii sports went crazy with family or friends, and challenging the computer to climb the sport ladder was a fun challenge solo. Pillar of the Wii.
That menu song in burned in my head.

YOU JUST GOT COCONUT MALL’D

I’ve never really stopped playing Minecraft in the damn near 15 years I’ve had it.
It’s exploration and the feelings it evokes always bring me back.

I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle
The gunplay aged like milk and it doesn’t look great, but it’s an amazing game that I come back to every few years
