Elden Ring is one of those games that isn't everybody's cup of tea. But god damn this is my tea, in fact this is my water. Elden Ring was ridiculously impactful for the industry of souls borne games. Before Elden Ring souls borne games ran a bit like this 'fight boss, die fight boss, die , fight boss, die, fight boss, win, yay now onto the next boss.' but in Elden Ring its not like that at all. If you can't beat a boss, don't worry about it! Leave get stronger and come back to beat their ass later! The graphics are incredible and even for non souls borne players like myself before this game, it is truly a phenomenal experience. Plus the lore made this game even better as your genuinely curious to learn about who your fighting, it strings the open world together and makes it make sense rather than just some random sandbox with weird dragons because 'yeah sure that'll do.'. This game brought so much to the gaming industry and I think it's the greatest of all time. (ps I've now platinum'd it)

Such a fun and cool little game, beautiful to play and always interesting. However navigating, whilst being enjoyable, is also a huge pain simply because of how filled this game is with annoying mobs and side paths. But I guess that adds the the adventure aspect of the game. Really good

This is one of the greatest games I have ever played, yes the combat is repetitive I understand that but at the end of the day it does what it set out to do, create an immersive world in which an impactful story about a gang in the late 1800's can be told. it did this perfectly and I think this is one of the greatest games of all time.

Actually think this game is great, I just shelved it for some reason and I can't remember why.

Mojang Cooked. Microsoft overcooked, but it's still a 5 star meal.

Playing this with an idiot is the worst experience I have ever had, and the puzzles feel kind of meaningless not to mention the walls ruined the 'portal-ing' experience for me.

This game was phenomenal, better then it's sequel in my opinion by a large margin. Kratos's character development throughout this game is something that needs to be seen by every living person who enjoys story games. The combat was immersive and made you feel kick ass every time you played, the world was in depth, detailed and had a rich atmosphere, and not to mention the antagonist (Baldur) was perfect for the type of story this game was trying to tell. I have replayed this game 3 times and I will never get fed up with it.

I understand this game really wasn't on par with previous entries of halo such as 3 or 1, but I grew up with this game and I still remember the excitement of getting into a lobby and doing a team deathmatch with my friends or doing a gravity hammer vs energy sword lobby. The story I think is great and I enjoyed the gameplay, I believe this game is overrated for what it is even if it isn't the best it could be.

This game really is something else. They took batman, made him darker, scarier and more brutal than ever. The story was detailed, intriguing and genuinely cool to see, not to mention the voice acting was on point, the graphics were way ahead of its time and the gameplay was incredible. Being forced to get around certain situations using gadgets and stealth means was really fire to do. Oh also you can be knighting in stealth lobbies so....

Since the bugs have been 'fixed' this game really did live up to its mark. Granted I may have a bit of bias as I went onto this game after watching edgerunners on Netflix, however I genuinely enjoyed this game. The bugs that still existed were harmless and funny to see actually. The gameplay was awesome, similar to a sort of souls game in the way you can approach the game in different ways using various builds. And most of all with this game was the art style and graphics. I have never ever played another game that had me so immersed into the story that I genuinely could not stop playing, the city is beautiful and it partners perfectly with the gruelling story. Since the newest update I haven't played it but I have heard from other people that it is better than before so if I do replay it, it could become a 5.

I have to agree with another reviewer on here @Elchupacabruh, this game is incredible, hits all marks that it needed too and was graphically beautiful, the story was actually insane and made you feel like you could change the course of this universe's history. And the combat system is hands down one of the best in gaming history so far. However I agree that this is a one time play, it's not a game you can easily pick up again and replay as the impact of playing the story for the first time makes up for a lot of it's promise. Still a great game but lacks replayability.

The reason I rate this game lower than its prequel is it brought nothing new to the table. This is why I believe it lost GOTY to the (deserving in my opinion) Elden Ring. This game was in graphical areas an improvement on its prequel, however the 'walking simulator' was the same and the combat felt identical. Now this game wasn't 'bad' by any means, it just wasn't what I think anyone was expecting after 6 years of development. Also the story was a drag to get to the final war, and that in the end was extremely rushed and I think felt anti-climactic.

It's bad, but I love it because of nostalgia.

This game is nostalgia incarnate, it's the most fun game to play with friends and is chill to play at any point of time. Best way to describe this game is 'a beautifully unfinished masterpiece'.

It's old Pokemon so its guaranteed an average rating sorry not sorry.
