An extremely competent metroidvania.

The distinguishing aspect of this game is it's combat. Combos and action are satisfying and stand above the normal standard of metroidvania combat.

Plot is kind of bland but honestly it doesn't matter much.

Tons of fun platforming. A world that's just the right size. The game doesn't overstay its welcome.

Signalis is a special game. The gameplay isn't particularly revolutionary but the art direction, story, and experience of playing are one of a kind.

If you're a fan of old school resident evil style games in a 2d package with gorgeous art and art direction then give it a shot.

I had a blast with this. Feels like an improvement in every way to the previous turn-based game with Kasuga.

Extremely entertaining, funny, plenty of dopamine levers to pull, and a solid story overall.

A fantastic roguelike deckbuilder + tactics combo that is sort of like Slay the Spire with touches of FTL and Into the Breach.

A little light on content but that's not a knock against it. The writing is surprisingly good and the characters and art are fun and charming.

Hope to see more from this dev in the future.

Very well made roguelike that has a surprising amount of depth and plenty to unlock.

Developer has several major patches planned, the first one has been a delight.

fun, stylish, well made roguelike in the vein of isaac/gungeon (but isometric).

it's a smaller game but it doesn't overstay it's welcome.

It doesn't ascend past very good, but it is absolutely very good.

Pros: absolutely gorgeous art design and one of the most engaging combat systems I've ever played in a SNES-style RPG.

Cons: Story suffers from being a little too generic.

Pretty fun to 100% despite getting errand-y by the end.

Not much else to say that hasn't been said everywhere else.

Very well done and an improvement on the first.

Combat gets repetitive and the game isn't reinventing the wheel story-wise, but it is a good time and well-crafted.

Fun and gentle to 100%.

Bottom line: if you like Remedy as a dev you will like Alan Wake II.

I am a huge fan of Remedy's storytelling so I was constantly pushed forward simply by being so engaged in what was happening in the world around me.

The gameplay isn't revolutionary but as a survival horror game it plays well and looks fantastic. The deliberate connections with Control are awesome as well.

Hopefully we don't have to wait 13 more years for more set in the Remedy universe.

A wonderfully unique take on a metroidvania.

The gameplay is mostly great moment to moment, but has its flaws. Gameplay-wise it's kind of cousins with Yoku's Island Express.

The story is the differentiator here. Tough themes done well. Stuff you don't really see done much in games to this degree of success.

Play the demo first, as you will know if the gameplay is for you from the demo alone.

Recommended.

As good as it gets for 2d mario. Delightful from start to finish. Super fun to 100% Very accessible but also a decent amount of challenge for those looking for it. Every single level has something worth playing for.

Not the longest game but that's ok. Hoping they make a sequel to this one.

lives up to (and accounting for my personal tastes, surpasses) inside and limbo.

One of the best playing, best looking, most interesting and most creative narrative puzzle games of all time.

The dopamine hit from solving each set of fates is on par with illicit substances.

A must play for any fan of the genre.

Maybe the best souls impersonator i've ever played
