May come back to this, but the fighting in this game just bores me. Going to try Like a Dragon and see if turn base is more fun.

I cannot play this anymore because I lose track of time. Usually, games I get bored with, but I bet I could play this for days on end.

Awful dialogue, terrible chase sequences, and a heavy-handed story turned this mediocre horror game into tedium.

Floored by how much I liked this. While it heavily borrows, almost rips off, Bloodbone, Lies of P crafts its own unique identity within that familiar structure. Plus you don't have to farm blood vails which is always a plus in my book.

Folks say the proximity chat makes this game, but I disagree.

It's the proximity chat mixed with creative monsters that make this game as hilarious as it is.

A weird combination of genres that feels like you're playing two different games that only sometimes interact with each other. The gameplay loop is a lot of fun, enough that when I beat a world I immediately went back to start up another world.

I can't say this game will be everyone's cup of tea, but I've enjoyed my time with it. I do wish it pushed back a little harder on the player. Even on medium difficulty, there wasn't any major demolishing I had to do in the city nor did anything catastrophically collapse in the mine.
I'll still be playing this for a while.

Easily the best 2D Mario game since Super Mario World. An absolute joy to play! How can there be any new Mario when Mario Maker exists?? Turns out each level is full of surprises that subvert expectations. I think that's what makes this game special over 2D Mario games of the last few decades, it constantly surprised me.

Brilliant game. Writing is top-tier. Messy 3rd act, but so many good pay-offs that it doesn't quite matter.

Legit sad it's over, but have been loving replaying it. I'm still finding tons of things that I've missed.

I loved this game until the end started become I know how to solve this puzzle, but you just have to do it a little too often. Still recommend! Killer style.

It doesn't quite hit the highs of the base game, but it is still a worthy expansion full of excellent "ah-ha" moments. I think this may be best to do alongside the base game for new players.

Suprised by how much all of the systems come together to make a game that's greater than the sum of its parts.

Now my favorite Street Fighter... and fighting game.

This is based purely on the story mode since NRS games are not my jam. I thought this was a slight step down from MK11, my favorite story mode, but still a lot of goofy fun.

2023

I liked this game a lot. It's cute short and to the point. The cooking mini-games are fun and it's surprising to see an indie game with basically no fantastical element to it.

Respawn took the lessons they learned from Jedi Fallen Order and perfected it. Seriously an incredible game with so much to do, great characters, excellent exploration and an surprisingly thoughtful story.

Just wish it ran better on PC...
