Get ready to fight the most annoying and boring random encounters 30 times during your walk from one side of a room to the other.

Has an interesting world and good immersion. But, trying to do an evil alignment run is painful. If anyone in your party dies, you are done.

This game has one of the best soundtracks I have had the privelege of having my ears blessed with as someone who cares a lot about music.

This game has one of the best combat systems I have had the privilege to experience as someone who is an action game fan.

I adore the acting and the cosmetics. I adore the characters and their accents. The graphics are beautiful and the characters are beautiful. The world building and lore is fantastic.

When I enter this game, hear its music and see its characters I enter the warm arms of Stellar Blade.

Very slow and some parts have become dated, but it has an incredible final act.

So much to explore and such an amazing experience doing such. However, the lack of direction also made me lose the sense of progression after a while.

Best of the classic Resident Evil games but gets quite stale towards the end.

The game is best at the start when you have so much freedom and the difficulty is manageable. But once you use up your paths during late game to the point where the only place you can really go is to fight this single boss with 30 patterns that forces you to continuously die to it for several days in order to learn them it gets quite stale.

Unless this game's combat is your favourite you might rather play something else less painful.

Incredible and timeless game. Few games match the atmosphere and immersion this game creates with fantastic sound design and an awesome sandbox.

The game starts a bit slow, especially for Markus, but once it picks up it becomes an experience unlike any other adventure game. There are not many games that immerse you in an engaging narrative with well-written characters that make your every choice and even QuickTime event feel like they are extremely consequential. The sound design and visuals from this game also might as well be from a film.

The absolute culmination of this era of God of War. This game remains a spectacle even by modern standards and its combat is still great today. Quicktime events were at their peak in this game from the era before they would be fundamentally changed for the sake of accessibility.

Many aspects of this game have aged poorly since its release such as the combat and story pacing. After the first half of the story, the gameplay starts to almost feel like a chore. However, it is a solid game for its time with lots of content that highlights the passion that the developers put into it. The expansions see much improved from the base game but it's pretty easy to be burnt out by the time you get to them.

Campy fun with great protagonists. Missions have a good variety and are rarely repetitive. The sandbox was ahead of its time and still holds up today.

A big improvement in the scope of the story and the start of iconic Kratos killing gods. Combat has been slightly nerfed but has increased depth over the first game. Some very annoying parts still remain but at least I can actually complete the game this time.

Super satisfying and tight combat system that gives you the freedom to do lots of cool stuff with great spectacle for a game of this era. However, there are lots of painful sections of the game that are a product of its time such as the spinning blades and the battle before the ending which I found too difficult in hard despite finding the rest of the game's difficulty fine.
