there are little story flaws and some poorly-designed mediocre boss battles, but as a whole, this game is arguably the best game you can experience on playstation 4 system, so go on, play it
the most boring experience of my life. don't get me wrong, graphics and sound design, art design in general is perfect. but this is not a game. at best an interactive animated movie this is. i don't think i will ever come back and finish. games are supposed to be fun. this is not fun for sure. i could always watch a good movie instead of playing this. at least my left thumb wouldn't hurt due to pushing the analog in a single direction for 20 minutes.

I love this game, and I got sick of pretending like I don't find this shit good. This game is a hell of a ride. Perfect tracks, amazing atmosphere, great combat, and incredible side quests. Yeah, the story is short and the game is buggy so what. I love it.

I love the level-design of this game. Yes lack of bonfires or archstones as how they called in this game might be little frustrating but overall I loved the idea of levels having shortcuts that connecting different places. Atmosphere is great. Boss fights are easy except penetrator and allant. Item burden is shit. Great game, must play if you love the genre.

boring combat mechanics, mediocre level designs, bad-written scenarios and boring dialogs make you hate even your favorite characters. the only good thing about this game is the soundtrack. persona 5 royal's royal arc was a so much better sequel story. this game is an utter shit you shouldn't waste your time on.

One of the best games in the PS1 library, and also I have ever played. Gameplay-wise, this game is almost perfect. But story-wise, it surely didn't age well. The game constantly tries to give you some cringy life lessons, evil characters suddenly becoming good and deciding to help Snake right before their deaths, and also I hate Meryl. Besides these, the game is perfect and I love it.
oh god, I really tried to love this game you know. the atmosphere is great, the graphics are beautiful and I love the french rev era. The animations look good and customization is acceptable. it is a good thing they tried to advance the stealth you know. but omg, the gameplay is horrendous, tons of bugs everywhere, and core mechanics are shit. level designs are mid at best and the story and the characters are so effin boring. I dropped the game for a while, I think there are like 2.5 hours more for me to finish the game, but I just can't. I will be back and finish it someday.

Decent game, design of the levels are cool and brilliant but the gamedesign-wise was not good. The story and lore are interesting, but unfortunately, the game spoils itself. Combat and skill tree are fantastic, yet the game is so easily forgotten, because of the boring gameplay loop. What a pity, could be a masterpiece.

the perfect way to start a series, to be honest. this game still keeps holding up and is better than even some modern-day need-for-speed games. With great soundtracks, fantastic upgrade system, and decent gameplay, now this is what I call an industry classic. a great looking retro gem that everyone should experience one day.
