Maybe I just hate video games but the 3 hours I had with this game were the most boring hours in my entire life. I feel like the beginning was way too slow and the story literally didn't pick up pace for me in 3 fucking hours. It felt so convoluted but for no real reason since I didn't feel there was something bigger coming in any way it were just meaningless deaths by random monsters or or seaman being fucking stupid or angry.
Also for the first time entering a memory you can't just walk out of it so I just sat there for 30 seconds for the game to continue which lead to always breaking my immersion. I generally liked the artstyle but sometimes it was just a pain to look at it or figure out what was happening.
I was so overwhelmed by the death choices because sometimes nothing felt right or two things being too similar to each other and idk if anyone else had that problem or if I'm just the most stupid person alive. Also found the ost to be corny and annoying as shit.
I wish I had loved this because the premise sounded so fun and interesting to me but for now I regret buying and playing this game
Coming back to the story not picking up any pace: I feel like they wanted to show the end at the beginning to get a feeling of ''uuuh I want to know how it came to this'' out of the player but holy shit the ending was the most fucking vanilla boring shit I have ever seen like everything the last chapter tells me is that nothing interesting ever happened on that damn ship.
