Even if it can’t quite replicate that feeling the first time we all played BOTW it’s entertaining and exciting the whole way through. I’d say it’s an improvement over BOTW in almost every way. I’m really happy they crafted a much better story and were willing to get experimental with character designs again. I loved that they expanded the world to the extent they did. Part of me dies kind of miss the pure simplicity in BOTW tho. That being said vastly improved sequel

Grapple dog is amazing! More people need to play this game. It’s got that thing going like Mario games do where they introduce game design in a low stakes way and up the stakes with them even combining gameplay elements. It’s a true joy to play through. I love that’s it very much feels like GBA game. Feels very chunky and scratchy! Just feels good. Highly recommend this game.

Wow! This game is incredible. Never played a game that felt so good. The first game was already extremely impressive on the vita, but seeing gravity rush freed from the shackles of the vita it really blew me away. It really is a shame this game didn’t do well when it released partially because of Sony and also because of the sheer wealth of amazing releases in 2017. Definitely track this down before it becomes hard to find.

I’m actually blown away by this game. It came out of nowhere and while I thought it looked cool I didn’t expect a lot. I think the bayonetta games are fun and well made, but This game is very much my style. The games artistic direction is beautiful! It plays a lot like a meteoidvania puzzle action game. The game also has puzzle dungeons spread throughout the world which reminds me a lot of how shrines are handled in BOTW. The controls are really interesting in the way it uses the right stick for attacking rather than camera control which gives a very kinetic feel. If this game already sounded kind of out there then I’ll just add by saying that you can even play this game two player if you want.
