I figured I'd play through the game again. It's short and tight. Robi was watching through Discord Live.

I gave it a go from the bed through Steam Remote Play.

Alright... I haven't felt this in a long while. The entire night just slipped away as I played. I was completely entranced. What a sweet story. I have to do the dishes now.

So, the Chinese crime syndicate, the Auntie Shu Boys, was given access to Bellwether by Blume to trade stocks. Not cool. They were operating from a barge in the middle of the ocean. Got them to come closer, then boarded the barge. Now, listen... If it happens on international waters, it's not a war crime. Just ask the CIA. I pulled out the AA-12 and started blasting until I fought my way to their server and extracted. Dusan spun the story to make DedSec the bad guy in the whole situation.

Right, so, there's this Mark Thruss guy, this conservative councilman who's been using !Nvite to manipulate the elections in his favor. Guess who's also involved? Mr. Manbun himself, Dusan. He resorted to blackmailing Thruss after the easy way didn't work out. Long story short, I shot up Thruss's penthouse then blew up the rigged election machines. You can call it domestic terrorism, but Ubisoft and its bullshit save checkpoints made me do it. I'm a victim, goddammit.

Ray brought to our attention that Tidis, the robotics company is up to no good. So, we sacrificed Wrench's beloved robot, Junior, then infiltrated their HQ. There I found out that they are developing robots using Blume technology for military and domestic purposes. As in anti-riot shit. The cherry on top, I found a huge ass robot spider and wrecked the place to kingdom come. Ray and Wrench squashed their beef and then... Homeland Security put me on the most wanted list... I need a break.

It was time to put the final nail in the coffin. I took control of Sitara a for s short time to hack a thing, then Wrench to blow shit up. After that, I went to Blume HQ and released EVERYTHING. Finally, we paid a visit to Dusan right before he was arrested. That's it. That's all. It was a good experience. To be honest, I expected more from the ending. Dusan was a genuinely menacing villain, but in the end he just... Covered like a scared, defenseless puppy. I guess there's a message here, but come on. I really expected a final showdown with him. If nothing else, then the battle of wits. Oh, well... I'm probably going to do some Driver SF missions as I haven't done a single one and finish the ATM side mission that I left specifically to the end as a dessert. After that? Back to Legion. Not sure if I should do Bloodlines first or the main story though. Release order is best probably.

I have finished the story. Defalt is dead. Seemingly... The final fight was a bit of a letdown after the earlier encounter. Finished the Fox Hunt storyline and the Council of Daves. Honestly... Both of those were a bit underwhelming. I really expected a few balding, middle-aged men called Dave sitting around a roundtable. Tomorrow, I'll tackle WD2. I'll start it over to keep the theme going.

Nicky and Jackson are safe. Clara popped up, said she was sorry and that she can fix things then hung up. Turns out she went for Damien to get my sister out who was already out by that point but she didn't know that. Anyway, I tracked down Lucky Quinn. It was a pretty cool mission with a great climax. Turns out he was blackmailing the mayor with a video of him killing Rose Washington, a ctOS employee he was in love with. Lucky thought that I and Damien wanted that precious video when we hacked into the Merlaut. It was all a misunderstanding. They sent people after Clara who was at Lena's grave when I rushed to save her. Turns out she was the one who's been putting flowers on her grave. She died at Lena's grave. Me and T-Bone uploaded all the files from Iraq to the news network then said our goodbyes. Only it was cut short as Damien gained access to the ctOS. It was a difficult mission to get him out of it. With T-Bone's guidance, we locked him out. Before I shut down cTOS, DedSec wanted me to let them install their backdoor. I refused. I think... I had a final showdown at a lighthouse with Damien. Jordi popped up to complicate things. Damien died, and Jordi got away bleeding. The nanny turned out to be a child psychiatrist instead of a nanny because I can't pay attention, so it turns out yet again. She's writing a book about me. Mayor died. Suicide or a hit, who knows? There's gonna be a ctOS 2.0 expanding to other cities. I also had a face-to-face with Maurice. I wanted to walk away but I wanted to see if Aiden pulls another empty gun stunt. Didn't seem like it was empty, I heard the shot before it cut to the credits. No value was lost. Whatever.
I wanna do the side missions just for narrative reasons. I also should do the Bad Blood DLC. If I have the complete edition, I mean, why not. Seems like a waste not to.

I logged back on to grind the side collectibles. I'm not sure if these were DLC content or base game. I finished the Missing Persons quest line. It was really fun although the pay off was a bit weak. After that, I finished the Human Trafficking missions. It had a better ending but the lead up was a bit mid. I'm not sure if I'll do the rest. I've already unlocked all the ctOS towers. Maybe Bad Blood next?

I finished the new content. Well, more or less. I still have some doctrines and I didn't do any more Purgatory runs than I needed to. First I indoctrinated Kallamar and beaten the witness. Got his ears back then began work on getting Baal and Aym back to their mother, Forneus. It was pretty sweet actually. Ratau would be proud.

Played a bit more. Grinded for the Tablets and did a boss rush.

After some procrastination yesterday, I've finally tackled the last of the story missions. I'm not a huge Donovan fun but I don't hate him. It was fun having a murder buddy and the banter was alright. I helped him track down his old friend who turned on the country and acquired a nuclear warhead. It was a fun, linear experience. I liked the change of scenery and it didn't outstay it's welcome.

So, it's war then. We started thinning the herd of Morello's influential sheep. I took out a councilor or something on a steamboat then went after a lucky bastard. Evaded a car chase with Vinny and Paulie, his wife or someone found her way to his car bomb before him, a waitress caught a bullet instead of him, and when I finally ended up face to face with him I'd just run out of bullets. Unlucky for him, he was sitting in a pool of gasoline around a pile of gasoline barrels and I just happened to be a smoker with my own lighter. The time arrived to go after the big man in white then. Me, Paulie and Sam went after him. Chased him out of the city to an airport. He almost took off when I shot out his engines. He crashed into the city. Chased after the burning plane to the crash site. There was him. Laying half crisp in his iconic white suit now in shared in black. I pumped him full of lead just to make sure. I wanna say it was a favor in the end.

Don Salieri told me a story about two guys drowning in a lake for each other to tell me not to cover for Paulie. After that, he told me I need to ice this Turnbull character. Politician. Crooked as a fishhook. Took him out with a sniper rifle from the top of an old prison's guard tower. The cops were all over me. Full-scale pursuit. Gave them the slip then went home to my wife. She told me that this Turnbull character fought for women's suffrage. Gave the right to vote for his six daughters, his wife, and well... my wife. So...

The Don sent us to lift some cigars from the FEDs that are actually diamonds. Well, it turns out it was dope. Paulie dreamt up a bank heist which Sam didn't fancy but I ended up going along with Paulie. The next morning, I went to visit Paulie for my share and found him dead. Sam called the landline there and I answered. He told me it was Salieri and that we should meet at the art gallery. At the art gallery, it became clear that it was Sam who capped Paulie and I should join him immediately. Unfortunately for him, it clashed with my plans so I shot my way through the art gallery to hunt him down. The detective helped me out in exchange for my cooperation in the Salieri case. I've spent 8 years behind bars but at least saw my daughter marry and grew old with Sarah. However, Vito and Joey from the second game killed me. Nice.

So, I've finished it up. Got Gracie back, that bitch. Wasn't worth it to be honest. Got to clock her out again at least. Told Rocco to fuck himself, and killed an army of Russians to get to Bulgarin who tried to flee via airplane. Everything went well. Don't really know what to say. It was a wild ride.

I grinded out the V12 for the Testarossa and now I'm broke. It was stupid.

So I've reached Rep 50 so now Rep is meaningless. I finished the rest of the story. Unlocked Eddie's Skyline in the process. Not that I give a shit, I've never played Underground. The Heat Reward thing for the Ultimate parts is teadious, I'm not gonna invest too much time into that. I did four of those and only got one Ultimate in the process. I unlocked the 1m Rep achivement and the escape 100 chase one. I played 4 hours today. It was a good weekend. I'm having fun. Rebeka made Aranygaluska yesterday.

I have finished the game finally. What an ending! Mendoza was fun if not a bit too simple. Dancing with Diana was ecstatic followed by immediate heartache. I likedthe intro to the final mission, I liked the reveal that we were on a train. I liked how it was streamlined as opposed to some grand, difficult final challange. It was a victory lap and it was great!

I've defeated the fourth bishop and currently collecting followers to advance. I'm collecting Eyes of the Witnesses but I'm pretty bad. I've also ran out of friends to name followers after so I'm naming after Hotline Miami characters. Kinda lame.

So, I did it... I've beaten it. I feel empty. I'll probably try for the achievements and revive all my friends. It was honestly awesome. I'm glad I've pre-ordered it.

At night I did some grinding. I've beaten the second bishop flawlessly, collected all the tarot cards and aiming for the final fleece.
