I was honestly pretty surprised about this game. I enjoyed Pikmin 2 alot but i feel like I enjoyed Pikmin 1 more than this one? Some things I felt Pikmin 2 improved from Pikmin 1 were the addition of caves, new pikmin, the sheer number of collectables and Louie!! Some of my reasoning for thinking Pikmin 1 being better than Pikmin 2 was from how little you got interrupted, and the time restraint of 30 days. In Pikmin 2 you are constantly being interrupted by the ship, for a tutorial or when you get one of the many treasures, imo really screws with the flow of the game.

Each of the new pikmin were great additions but I kinda wish they actually had onions rather than rarely finding candypop buds. On my playthrough I had like 9 white pikmin and 25 purple pikmin which is incredibly low. They added 3 new pikmin, white, purple, and bulbmin. The white pikmin were really useful cuz of the new poison hazards, they are the fastest moving pikmin and they can deal alot of damage if they are eaten. The purple pikmin can carry 10 times more than every other pikmin, do the most damage and can wobble enemys. The bulbmin are very rare pikmin but they are resistant to all hazards, and I only got to see the bulbmin once :(

This is the best game i have ever played. Genuinely everything about this game is incredible. I'm not going to say much about why I love this game, but it has to do with the fantastic plot, and how much attention to detail this game has. (If you haven't, you GOTTA play Metal Gear Solid 2 PLEASE)

The main differences between this version of the game and the original is the addition of a ton of side content. 500+ vr missions, a new difficulty, and skateboarding, just to name a few!

Devil may cry is a pretty good game! I really liked the combat, I liked how much depth it had, and all the weapons were great to use. The boss fights were also pretty fun, my favorite one is probably one of the Griffon, or Nero Angelo fights. I honestly forgot there was a plot to the game at times, the story was very hands off. The level designs were inconsistent, they were either pretty good or straight up bad.

I had two main issues with the game. I disliked the "checkpoint" system a lot, since there are no checkpoints unless you either find a yellow skull or buy it which is very annoying. Another thing that I disliked was the camera.

This game feels terrible to play. The actual platforming is abysmal, with most of the levels just being flat areas (other than stage 3 which is honestly kinda cool but it was executed terribly). You are also slow af which makes the few platforming challenges terrible. The only thing i "liked" were the bosses, but they still weren't great.

This port has a lot of performance issues, and i have crashed like 5 times trying to play it. I only like this port of Pixel Gun because of the mouse support and no ads.

hopefully they will fix the performance issues in the next update

I enjoyed Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. The movement felt great for a handheld mario game in the 90s (and it has Mario worlds spin jump which was cool). The new power-up was pretty cool, with it being somewhat like a fusion of both the cape feather and the super leaf from the previous Mario games. I liked how unique the world themes were, with the space world, haunted house world and Mario mech world to name some. My main issue with the game was how unmemorable the levels were. I have played all of the levels in this game before this play-through, but I remembered none of them this play-through (other than the second space level which was fantastic).

I love this game!! The only "issues" with Pikmin was how short the game was and pikmin getting stuck on stuff, literally everything else about it was fantastic.

I’m not going to say much on why the game was so amazing but here are a few things I liked about it (please play it if you haven’t yet). Some of the things I liked about Pikmin were its world design and gameplay.

The world design is fantastic! I loved exploring the levels and I really enjoyed hearing what olimar has to say about the environment he was in and about the ship parts he needed to collect. The puzzles were great (my favorite was probably in the "final trial"), and its combat was also very good.

2012

ICO is a game that I have mixed feelings about. I thought that it did many things incredibly well, from its world design to its art style and more. The only thing I disliked was actually playing it.

Artistically this game is amazing! I’m not going to say much about the positives of ICO, but I loved the art-style used. Another thing that I liked was exploring the castle, it felt gigantic and almost endless at times. From an artistic point of view the flaws with the gameplay helped with immersion, but even with that lens I just did not enjoy playing the game.

I disliked ICO's gameplay a lot. The movement is pretty bad, I can’t really describe it, but it just feels clunky and hinders more things about the game, like the platforming. Platforming in the game was good, other than the movement but something I personally disliked was how everything blends with each other (I NEED yellow tape to guide me).

But the main gripes I had with the gameplay were the combat and the camera. The combat was genuinely terrible. It’s tedious, doesn’t evolve throughout the game and made me not want to continue playing. The camera is also terrible but for external reasons. I hate it because it gave me a headache.

Even with the gripes I had with ICO, I still respect this game a lot for all of the unique ideas and concepts it introduced.

The Legend of Zelda is honestly pretty fun! I really liked exploring the map and finding secrets around it. Most of the items you collected throughout the game were fun to use. One of my favorite items was the Magic wand. It was literally just “projectile candle” which was great!

There were two main things about the game I disliked. The things I disliked were the cryptic elements and the enemies. A lot of the enemies were very tedious to fight, ESPECIALLY THE BUBBLES. The cryptic elements were mostly from finding the dungeons. For example, to find one of the dungeons you had to climb up the same set of stairs 4 times in a row to just to go into it.

The main reason why I ranked Legend of Zelda 6/10 is just because I lost most of my progress a while ago. I originally started my play-through last year, and I was on the seventh dungeon, so it really hurt when I lost my save :(

I kinda wish I didn’t replay this game.

After replaying New Super Mario Bros Wii, most of my former opinions changed. My only thoughts that did not change were that I really liked the movement, and that I liked the multiplayer (though I played the game in single player this time).

I was disappointed with how lackluster most of the levels were. Some levels were pretty fun (5-4), but most of them were either mediocre or just not fun (6-6). They either had an annoying gimmick, like most of the stage being covered with clouds (7-6) or were just generic. One of the few level gimmicks that I really liked was the wind from 2-4.

There were a few more things I was disappointed about. I thought the power-ups were hit or miss, and most of the secrets in the game were bad (I could swear that 90% of this games star coins were behind a fake wall). Most of the boss fights were pretty boring, excluding the final boss which is fantastic.

I still like this game, just not as much as I did originally, which is unfortunate.

Foamstars is literally dollar store splatoon.

I don't like this game, the general game-play is just bare-bones Splatoon. The foam mechanic was not utilized well or at all (From what I played). I thought the solo/co-op missions sucked, because of how tedious they felt. They were literally just you shooting 5 enemies without any challenge, with the character you picked saying unfunny quips. The dialogue is abysmal, its just unfunny bubble or foam puns.

I like this game, just not this port of Mario Bros. The reason why I dislike this version of Mario Bros is because of how clunky the movement feels. The movement is extremely slippery which makes it feel terrible. The movement even hinders you when you want to attack an enemy or collecting coins in the bonus levels.

The port on Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga is wayyy better imo.

This is the second Metroid game I've completed so far and I didn't really enjoy playing this one. I didn't like how cryptic everything was, and I really disliked how much knock-back and damage the enemies did, especially for the final boss which was terrible. I thought the upgrades you get were alright and I liked exploring the map, excluding the cryptic stuff.

I was kinda disappointed with this game. I felt that the story was lackluster for most of the game. Most of the side content was very boring, like stopping a car chase or find all backpacks, which are just copy and pasted around the map. The combat was alright, I would have liked it more if every enemy didn't die in 3 hits, which makes long combos nonexistent. I enjoyed the movement a lot, but i wish it had a little more depth. My favorite thing about this game was Peter and Otto's relationship, which is genuinely so good.

Before playing FF7 I was very worried that it would be overrated, but after finally playing it, I think the hype was justified and this game is incredible. I love practically everything this game does, from its amazing story and its fantastic soundtrack, to its unique mini-games and game-play mechanics it introduced.
