Perfect game. My all time favorite game, literally no notes.

Probably the most formative game of my early teen/High School life. I made lifetime friends from this game, this game is my comfort when it seems like everything around me is darkness. I still cry thinking about what this game means to me, even years later.

Project M made this game leaps and bounds better for sure, but you cant deny its impact. Subspace Emissary was the greatest story mode in any of the Smash games

Its DUSK, but in HD for all the idiots on Twitter who complained about the graphics looking like the Playstation 1 even though that was the design aesthetic you utter fools.

I love DUSK, full stop. Loved it since seeing the trailer for it back in 2016. Amazing Boomer Shooter experience. And how can you possibly iterate upon perfection? You can only maintain, which is what DUSK HD offers to you. The revamped levels (adding enemies introduced in later episodes retroactively, among other slight changes) are welcome for secret hunters and normal players alike.

The DLC is also totally free for current owners of DUSK because to quote CEO of New Blood Interactive Dave Oshry, "We Hate Money." Buy DUSK; and if you already own it, play DUSK.

The countless hours I have spent across so many playthroughs is a testament to how impactful this game is on me, on so many levels. From the music to the combat to the quests themselves. You can get lost in a random corner and never find it again on another playthrough. The world has such a massive scale to allow for you to do just about anything. My best man wrote his speech about our bond over this game. Was it a horrible speech? Yes.

The DOOM id Software always wanted to make, dark gritty horror driven FPS. Still 100% holds up. The intro cinematics for each demon type are peak at instilling this fear into the player. And then you throw a cube at them and they melt into gibs

If anyone tries telling you the shotgun is good in this game, run. Run far away

They took DOOM, an already perfect game, and gave it an even better shotgun. No notes. Some of the maps haven't aged the best in terms of level design but those were all made by Sandy Peterson anyway. Romero levels are and always will be peak

The best GTA, fight me on this. Best music selection on just one station, VROCK.

Hours of time spent on this one. Also a great sandbox game to run around and cause chaos

The best Animal Crossing. This one meant so much to me growing up in a rural area with few friends.

Getting the gold statue after paying off your home was such an accomplishment. Staying up until 8 PM on Saturdays to hear KK Slider was worth it every time. The little dance you do every loan payoff was worth it.

This game is worth it!

2018

This should be the game that instantly comes to mind when you think of modern boomer shooters. Masterclass in retro FPS game themes and feel. Fantastic music score by the legendary Andrew Hulshult. A love letter to Doom, Blood, Heretic/Hexen, Redneck Rampage, and RotT

New Blood are quite literally what Video Game Publishers should be, a company that cares about the games they make and the gamers that play them

I know this one was made for kids, but it was still too baby-level for me.

This one was hard to get through, gen 8 as a whole was just bad

The ultimate Gianni Matragrano shitposting experience

I'm really not one for games that cause me to bang my head against the wall with simple platforming. Couldn't figure out the movement smooth enough to begin to enjoy it.

Music and art style were what initially drew me to this game. Level design and difficulty was what forced me out

1993

The only game where you witness Gary Coleman lob a rotten cow head infected with Mad Cow at you and it is a poison grenade.

This game is a labor of love by the developers, and only from its cult following on Steam has it continued all these years. Each game in this series is a pop-culture time capsule (just look at this games DLC that came out 12 years post-release) and that's part of the charm. A much simpler GTA like game that can be played however you choose.

It's criminal this only has a 3.4 average

Wonderful game in an amazing series. Spent so much of my childhood and teen years playing hours of matches in this
