I view games as a dialogue between the creator and the observer - and along those lines, I dont think The Witness is a bad game...... I think its a callous and confrontational game that wishes to express its fascinations only to the most patient and accomodating player.

Played for about 15 minutes before seriously questioning WTF am I doing with my life.

This game is broken from start to finish. The driving is garbage, the gunfights are awful, a lot of the dialogue is corny, just moving around in the world is overall a downright displeasing experience.
This game is also absolutely fantastic in terms of setting, writing, ambiance, bizarre.
I cannot recommend it because chances are most people would hate it.
But I also cannot recommend it enough.

Wow. Just... Wow.
I won't even try to write a detailed review. RE4 is one of the most important games in my life, I can't even TRY to sound smart.
All I'll say is, it's really good, and yet it doesn't make the original obsolete. OG RE4 is still snappier, with action on all fronts. RE4R has a lot more quiet time, and thanks to the sidequest system, you really get to explore and take in all the areas little by little. The action IS still there, and it is great, but there's now more to do between sessions of mowing down villagers left and right.
The original was my favorite RE, one of my favorite games ever, and now the remake is not only my favorite Resi remake, but my favorite remake ever. Bravo, Capcom.
