The amount of dirty jokes in this one is over the top and I wouldn‘t want it any other way.

You can feed a rat and pet boars. Also you get to beat the crap outta people. I support this.

Very sweet game with a great message. I just love running around the island and listening to the birds. It‘s so soothing. :)

Ugh. What to say about this game?

It definitely is a step in the right direction, but feels more like a proof of concept. I had a lot of fun with the first few hours. Just running around, exploring the first area, catching Pokemon and collecting materials.
Unfortunately that became bland after a while and the story wasn‘t all that interesting to me as well. At some point I just wanted to rush through and get it over with.

I really wish there was more to explore than giant fields of nothingness. The visuals aren‘t making the exploration part any more appealing.

Completing the Pokedex didn‘t feel rewarding, more like I wasted 20 hours I could‘ve spent on something acutally fun. Can‘t be bothered to reach max rank and complete all side quests.

Still, it‘s great to see they actually tried something new and I do hope the good features of Legends: Arceus will be refined and incorporated into the next main game.

Emotional Rollercoaster Tycoon 2021

I thought the story couldn‘t get any better after Shadowbringers, but boy, was I wrong. I cannot put into words how amazing this game is.

I bought this thinking it would be relaxing and peaceful puzzle game about a dog drawing happy little trees.

While that is true to some extent, the game turned out to be pretty dark and hit me right in the feels.

Very unique experience with LOTS of collectibles!

That soundtrack slaps pretty hard 🕺

> plays game about unpacking boxes
> starts crying

The game has some neat ideas, but… not very well executed. The crafting system is a giant pain and caring for your animals boils down to just pressing A. The villagers are pretty bland as well.

The biggest disappointment are the DLCs, which basically add tiny areas with some characters from previous games.

Though I think it‘s great that the devs listened to the players and tried to fix some of the issues, the patches didn‘t help me enjoying the game more.

It doesn‘t quite capture the charm of the original game for me, but overall it‘s a pretty solid remake with nice additions and improvements.

Not the most polished game, but I still had a lot of fun with this.

The massive backtracking to get all Nexomon was a huge pain though. And the long loading times between screens didn‘t make it any better.

2021

One of the best games I‘ve played this year. It helped me to calm down and forget about stress and anxiety for a little while.

I absolutely love the characters and the overall aesthetic of this game. The story was pretty neat as well.

Unfortunately I experienced some pretty serious bugs in the Switch version. The rhythm mini game was so broken, it wasn‘t playable at all.

Still had some fun hours with it!

It‘s pretty cute and relaxing to play in between, but I wish there was more variety to the mini games.

Kitaria Fables puts me back to the „glorious“ days where I played a lot of F2P MMORPGs. Grindy fetch quests, expensive armour upgrades and hordes of aggresive monsters following you around the map. All that with a shallow farming simulation glued on top.

I was really excited for this one, because, well, I‘m a sucker for farming sims and cute stuff. Unfortunately it didn‘t hold up, but with some little tweaks here and there, I might give it another chance.
