idk I think Gilgamesh or Kefka would have slapped harder, but I guess they had to cater to the FFVII crowd, though Sephiroth's still pretty cool. I'm so glad Sephiroth has a sword like Masamune because its range is so unintentionally funny. his stage is pretty hardcore too it straight up takes place during FFVII's ending sequence which is pretty metal. you also can't go wrong with Final Fantasy music god bless Uematsu and every other FF composer who took over as well as all the people who remixed some of the new tracks. lastly having a limited time boss fight with Sephiroth was pretty rad, not only was it fun to defeat him traditionally, but you could also find ways to cheese the fight even on the hardest difficulty and that was pretty amusing, so yeah this was an epic pack.
they forgot to include Birth of a God though I am still mad

Besides Joker, I'd say this pack is the pinnacle of Ultimate's DLC quality. Everything from Sephiroth's insanely good reveal to his moveset that makes him feel like a boss fight rolled into a character or even the challenge that was included for players to unlock him all signified that this was an all around excellent pick.
Music and stage are both top notch. Final Fantasy was severely lacking in music prior to this update and I even had a friend who said he'd pay money to buy more Final Fantasy music separately. Luckily this pack greatly bolsters the series' previously lacking represented soundtrack. The new stage is light on gimmicks and hazards, as most DLC stages tended to be, but I find this completely acceptable when the backdrop is pure eye candy.

THIS is how you do a Smash Brothers fighter. How do we introduce our new DLC character? Have him slice the final boss of the game (previously established to have effortlessly murdered every other fighter bar Kirby) in half and then go "FUCK YOU IM THE VILLAIN NOW!" Give him a powerful feeling moveset, a gorgeous stage, and expand the infamous FF7 music collection, and you have a serious contender for one of Ultimate's best new challengers. Sure the costumes are bad and he only brings FF7 music because licensing is a bitch, but not every character can be perfect. I'm a huge fan of antagonist characters, seeing villains get added to Smash is always a treat, and Sephiroth absolutely delivered a DLC pack I didn't know I needed.
