This would be such a great first Yakuza game if the story wasn't basically Avengers Endgame.

Short and sweet! Probably my least favourite of the ones I've played so far but that's just because it was a lot shorter and felt like something to tide us over before Infinite Wealth.

Great ending too!

Really simple but really fun! Managed to get the Platinum in 3 hours and had a blast. Probably will never go back to it though. Think a roguelike/incremental mode could have been great!

I haven't actually rated/review anything in ages so I have a huge backlog of finished games so apologies for spam buuuuut

I finally got the platinum in this! After playing it like 3 or 4 times I finally just committed and the games very good! I've never played the original so can't speak to how they messed up the hitboxes but it's a good length and has a really good trophy list too.

The bosses are a bit naff though.

I mean honestly it's just another WWE game... it's good like last year! Really enjoyed the male MyRise and thought the female one was a bit of a miss. WarGames is a nice addition but honestly pretty messy

The trophy list is a lot less grindy than 2k22!

Honestly they had a lot of the design down but it feels awful to play and the story is just a bit of a joke cameofest. Just find it funny that Emma Stone was in Sleeping Dogs but wasn't in this.

Nothing more to say, just play the good ones and use the TASM2 suit (definitely not worth the £30 to buy this from CEX)

I mean it's more Picross... what do you want?

Still great (and I'm getting faster)

Bit of a mess story wise for me and I found it so hard to actually care about anything that was going on, which is a shame after how much I loves Miles (2020) but it's obviously still really good. Some story moments still do hit, even if I don't love the whole thing. There really is just way too much going on imo.

Not even really worth talking about gameplay here because it's basically just better in every way. Everything you liked is back + better, and everything you didn't like is also back + better. The new combat abilities are just super satisfying.

Decided after playing this that Insomniac are officially the master's of game feel. I have no clue how they can include so many cool and experimental ways of using a controller to manipulate visual's and audio on your TV and make every one of these feel so incredible.

I know we're all excited about Wolverine but honestly I wouldn't be opposed if they splintered off a group to make some type of music game, a game about making art, but most importantly, I need them to make a puzzle game. I don't even mean like Portal or whatever, just a grid based puzzle game, 1h30 long and stick it up on the store for a tenner. I know a lot of the mainstream hate them in these games, but (other than that last post-game one) the puzzles in this are just so fun to play around with.

Everything Insomniac does is just so satisfying. Right now I feel quite down on this because imo these games are so bloated and Miles is quite honestly an almost perfect game, and this almost feels like a step back in so many ways. But honestly I've been pretty down on this whole year in general so even though I'm not as in love with it as everyone else, this is undoubtedly my (AAA) GOTY so far.

(I still need to go back and get the 4 Chinese Pokemon but otherwise I basically have a Living Dex in this and just want it off my "Playing" list haha)

Gonna keep this short since I don't have anything unique to say.

Sad to see how it looks and runs, but it's Pokemon so I will 100% it no matter what. Yeah if this wasn't a Pokemon game I wouldn't like it as much, but it is a Pokemon game. (also genuinely like a lot of the designs in this one)

Was really not enjoying this, played up to the end of the campaign and stopped but was meaning to get back to it at some point to get the platinum. And to also see what I was missing.

Started my hardcore character today, played for an hour and then I died because the server crashed. What an awful experience.

Sadly just did not get this one. It feels nice and sounds amazing and has one of the best moments of the year. But I finished it in 7 hours and just didn't want to play anymore and see what the NG+ was all about. I think one day I will come back to this and give it another go, but I just WISH I got it.

This has soooo many issues but I really enjoyed coming back to this. I know the combat gets a lot of hate but I find it so satisfying. The story is a bit like uuuuuuh but after playing AW2 I really do appreciate what they were going for.

Really great! I never thought I would but I actually got good at the combat!

Was gonna go for the 1000G but the trophy list is really stupid so I'll be back at some point.

Just really really didn't like this. A step down in almost every way for me. Can't really explain WHY I feel this way, but now I'm not looking forward to 3.

I think the combat is quite bad and would honestly prefer if this was a proper narrative game but everything else is absolutely amazing and the fact you can actually feel that it was made by humans is incredible. Such a triumph in so many ways. Really excited to play the NG+ and the DLC's that will be coming out.

Won't lie I teared up at all the messages from the devs in the credits, what a game!
