This game is perfectly fine (besides one weapon), but it really does just feel like more of the same.

Some pretty annoying moments, but overall, it's just kinda there.

Nothing to really complain about here. The inclusion of the new Rush suits helps this one stand out.

Really fun game. Only complaint I have with it is having to play the game in a specific order to get the Magnet upgrade, otherwise you replay the level like I had to.

Solid version of the game that controls pretty well. While I prefer the original, it is definitely worth it to give this one a shot.

Easily one of the best NES games I’ve played (not that I’ve played many so far).

Very charming and controls very smoothly. If you’re looking for a game to pass the time, this is your best pick.

Fun weapons and the charge shot was a cool addition, but I feel like this one has more cheap enemy placements on top of the bosses feeling forgettable.

It was whatever. Felt like a step down from the previous game in terms of controls. Stages ranged from alright to annoying.

It is as it says on the tin - It is Mega Man Zero and X coming together to form something fantastic.

There is so much fun to be found with the Biometals and not to mention all the neat fanservice found in this game.

Getting the upgrades can feel like a chore at times, but otherwise, this was a fantastic next step from the Zero games.

Better than the console version in some ways, a little worse in others.

Gameplay wise, This is basically Sonic Rush 3, although the loss of the trick system bummed me out a little. Still a fun game.

Credit where it's due, this game was willing to experiment with many different ideas to see which ones stuck the landing.

It's a shame almost none of them did.

My thoughts on this game are just as inconsistent as the game itself.

I really enjoyed the first half with Akiyama and Saejima (even if some scenes in there are questionable at best), but then it transitions to Tanimura, who feels wildy out of place with the rest of the series and whose part ends with a phenomenally stupid plot twist. Not to mention Kiryu's part feeling a bit unimportant compared to the other 3 (although his final chapter was certainly a sequence of events).

After all that, we end off with what starts off as a cool finale, until you get to the end, where you face off with what is definitely the worst fight in the series and probably one of the single worst final boss fights I've ever experienced in every way that matters.

Overall, as it stands, it is a letdown. It has such good setup, only to drop the ball hard with the payoff.

A fun game to play if you're looking to kill time for an hour or so. One boss in particular was really tedious to deal with, but overall, it was alright.

It's a big mind-boggling to me when this game is labeled as a Platform Shooter when it feels just as electrifying and exhilarating as an action game.

The stage, enemy, and boss design are at their best and X, Zero, and all the weapons and techniques you acquire for both of them are so fun to control. Being able to fully control Zero in particular was such an amazing experience. They even manage to tell a pretty cool story on top of all of that. The action and stakes pile on and on and it is hard not to be drawn in by it all.

This one is weird man.

While it does feel like a step-down from X4 in some regards (definitely stages cause some of them were just obtuse). the bosses and amazing music helped make it an enjoyable experience. There were some gameplay mechanics that felt and looked questionable on paper, but ultimately it didn't really detract from my experience.

Can't deny that having your ending dependent on RNG is dumb though.
