I was dreading the idea of making a list like this simply because... well, I've done a couple of ''priority'' lists, and while I still plan on beating every game on those and most will in fact be featured on here (at some point or another), I'm always a bit concerned of not actually managing to accomplish the objective of beating a specific set of games or focusing on other titles I didn't plan on playing, something that happened A TON this year... but you know what? Screw it! It's MY mental health and I destroy it however I please!

But just to make sure that doesn't happen, I really tried a way to approach the Backlog or ''Bucket List'' without having to be overwhelmed by the many options I already have and to not make it feel as aggressive or turn it into some kind of looming deadline, but no matter how much I tried, I really couldn't think a way to make a list like that, and so originally this was going to be just a collection of 50 games or so that I wanted to beat this year... but then I thought about it a liiiiittle bit more, and I thought that maybe, instead of overwhelming myself with such the collection of games, what if... I took it by parts? And so, after using the pink blob I like to call my brain a bit more, I got this idea: instead of a general bucket list for all of the year, at the first day of each month I'll pick three games out of my backlog and mark them as objectives to play said month; of course I'll be able to play more aside of these games if I want to, and I'm not gonna limit myself to beating them in the same month if I don't have the time, but I'll keep them in mind and be sure to start them before the month ends.

The last thing I want is to turn my favorite hobby and even art-form into a check list or some sort of Sword of Damocles, and I think this is a nice way to maintain some sort of consistency while also being fairly flexible and even fun, and I can't wait to update this every time a new month comes around!
