Witcha two?!!! Are you bonkas?!

Before I do jump into witcher 3 I wanted to experience this one to get a feel for the gameplay style and the whole world that is witcher. Definitely in for a treat with wild hunt I'm sure because I enjoyed the hell out of this one. Despite its shortcomings with its awkward controls and the way it ran on the Xbox and whatnot it felt like a true old-school style rpg experience with more modern controls. This is certainly two worlds on steroids if I've ever seen it. Really was interested in most side quests and their own little side stories and making my own potions seemed pretty cool although I never really used to feature all that much. Pretty fun and cool game especially for a newer witcher fan like meself.

This one grabbed my attention with its cool slick cover art and I finally managed to pick this one up since I missed my opportunity to playthrough this on game pass. You are the Katana Zero in a way dude! The more you play it the better you get at it and it's cool how pretty much it's part of not just the premise but the game's story as well. Super interesting story with some cute heartfelt and deep moments for such a short and action-packed indie game. The cyberpunk synth-style soundtrack blends perfectly as you are cutting down all those pesky bogeys. My only regret is that I did not play it sooner!

Made it into the 4th story mission and stopped there for now. This really feels like a case of if you played one of these games you have played them all going down the same path with the same type of villains and plot points, the only difference here is Co-op and 4 playable characters. I'm a firm believer of anybody can put on the cowl and voice Batman, but this one sounds just too awful to me. Gonna drop this one for now and maybe I will return to it. Glad I got this on sale instead of full price because that's a Gotham City crime right there.

Found out about this one from my friend and I was pretty excited to jump into it. The amount of passion and love for the franchise that went into making this was great. Great music and visuals with an upgrade to the gameplay and giving you a slide to help maneuver around the enemies and bosses. The boss fights were pretty good if you did not have to wait 5-10 seconds after every single hit you do which kinda threw me off to the usual Castlevania games. I started to adapt to it until I got to Death and Dracula and even with the sub-weapon took me a good 25-30 minutes each. Unbeknownst to myself and this being my first blind playthrough to any version of Simon's quest I did not know there is a "best weapon in the game" type of whip you have to acquire. I explored all areas multiple times thinking I collected everything and headed into the final boss fight without said weapon. Unfortunately, once you hit the checkpoint down there it is a no-return thing and you can't really go back. I learned that the hard way when my weapon literally did not damage the final form of the boss at all which ended my playthrough sadly and did not get to finish this one. Maybe some other time I guess lol I love me some Castlevania and this remake was pretty damn good. Too bad I did not know this would happen beforehand fuuuuuuuck.

A unique take for the WarioWare formula with a decent story mode that can be played in co-op. Being able to use and learn all the different characters and each one's unique style was a nice mix and match with the mini-games. I have always enjoyed the WarioWare games and it seems like they always have to add some gimmick to it which kind of seems unnecessary sometimes I mean I guess its to keep it fresh. The real question is when will we get a new Wario game that's not WarioWare? Like a new Warioworld or WarioLand, come on now!

My first classic pc game I managed to complete on my steam deck. I definitely had plans to play this one after I learned about fallout 3 when I was way younger which started it all for me. Honestly had my doubts at first about using a mouse and coming to terms with the old adventure gameplay style of PC games, but once I started getting it going, it was legendary! Truly felt ahead of its time with all the unique options with weapon and character building. The fact that you could use the 10mm submachine gun in burst mode had saved me more times than I could count and the side quests and followers you could recruit really gave it that extra level of RPG depth. Pretty damn good story for the fallout series too! I would love to see a remake of this one in the newer fallout gameplay style, but I certainly enjoyed this gameplay style too! I will definitely get to Fallout 2 sometime in the future for some more wacky wasteland questing!

Every time I played this those devious goons were shitting the bed, not to mention at the time I lived in BFE.

Majora's Maskterpiece I'd say!!

A game I have known about for quite some time since I was young and finally took to time to play through this one. I went the whole nine yards with this one collecting every mask and doing nearly every side quest and getting the fairy sword. I fucking enjoyed every minute of it and couldn't get enough of it besides learning that you have to do certain things at certain times of the day and you don't know much going in blindly. Believe me when I say it was all worth it! That eerie music that would play when you free one of the spirits and it speaks to you truly gave me chills as well as doing so many unique side quests which all grabbed my attention. Each with their own interesting side stories and dealing with the despair that goes with it. Truly Majora's mask wasn't the only thing evil around these parts. What's up with that Rolf-sounding mailman though? He is supposed to be quick yet my cat shits faster than it takes him to make a delivery, whatsupwiththat!? At first, the whole time thing with the 3 days would dissuade me to jump in earlier, but once I took the time to actually play and learn the game I grew accustomed to it. If you are new to this Zelda don't let it throw you off! All those little edgelord kids in middle school were right about this one!! God-Tier Zelda eaaasily! (But where was Zelda? Mad weird dude!)

I religiously played and still like to jump into DKC 1&2 every once in awhile. They had such a big part in my childhood gaming years, however I never dabbled with this one at all. Finally getting my hands on it and playing it in the past few years I can say I didn’t miss much. Of course its more DKC which is always great, but it often felt like a cheap imitation to the wonderful series I love dearly. Some enemies felt weird and out of place and the whole setting was off putting to me like I was at camp lazlo or some shit. Most importantly the OST was god awful and some levels had a few cheap gimmicks like the one stage where you have to climb a burning rope and can only turn left to right. Its an okay game on its own, but definitely didn’t feel like the usual OG DKC!

This was the biggest piece of dino dookie I have ever stumbled across! Prehistoric poopy of the lowest degree.

A game that certainly falls short compared to it’s primeval predecessor. It had a cool ass start with having the intro cutscene and continuing where the last one left off a few years later. The two protagonist choice was a nice change to the already good formula, however it was kind of done poorly since one of the characters is clearly the main one you are meant to play since the other gets pushed aside in a good bit of the cutscenes. Also one does not get as good weaponry as the one I chose to play as told by Astroboymario. Which also goes to say the levels were somewhat kind of barebones with little exploration compared to others and the 2nd level definitely felt out of place. Bringing back alot of the great old weapons from Turok 2 and making them way more worse killed me. Majority if the game I would prefer using the pistol compared to all the other weaponry that wouldn’t get the job done. Boss fights weren’t too bad and I liked fighting one after every level. Definitely a downgrade from the past two, but certainly not the worst in the franchise.

I have recently been getting into a-lot of the Alien movies and a few games recently and I would have to say this is the best one I have played by far. Literally super immersive and incredibly made environments and events play out perfectly just like how the movies managed to operate with cool exploration and mechanics to make an interesting and deadly Outlast style hide and seek type of game with the Alien. Even going to save and putting in a pass code into a locked door feels horrifying as you pray you don't get grabbed and impaled by the lurking Alien and constantly using your radar making sure you aren’t followed. Being able to craft different traps and gadgets and the different weaponry you acquire definitely gives it that Deus Ex type of feel too which I was really digging. Such a great game that sadly stretches out a very long time though, kind of did not understand why they wanted to make this such a long journey, although it was a good one!

I mean its alriiight like..

I tried playing this game once before and could not get past to beginning mission because I was so uninterested. A year or two goes by and here I am actually in the mood to play it and complete it. A game with a huge budget and unique effects still ends up making a story centered around time machines and chronostasis quite unforgettable and very hard to make me get invested in. If you told me several years ago a game has tv episodes between chapters of a game I would probably despise it saying “THATS SO STOOOPID!!” Although I turned out kinda enjoying them and made me care alittle more for the characters I already barely gave a damn about. How did we go from Alan Wake to this is beyond me and I cant wait to play Control, but this one just misses the mark and falls short in alot of aspects of its creation. Not terrible, not great, just meh.

I fell in love with Diablo 3 when I first played it on the PS3 and also played through it a second time with reaper of souls. Imagine my excitement when I found out this was going to be released on consoles and was ready for the old school rpg experience. What turned into a great experience with a few friends on coop became a grueling nightmare that sucked the joy and life out of me with the constant bullshit by the end of the 2nd Act. Tried playing through this with several different classes and all ending up with the same outcome constant burnout of me thinking I made a solid build to just get decimated by Duriel for the thousandth time which also made other friends quit the game in frustration. I would play on easy if it was an option, but maybe I'm just not cut out for this unreal hardcore experience. I have lost any interest by this point with it and I am sure Diablo 4 will be better (I hope). Maybe I will one day come back to it, but certainly no time soon.
