Don't Worry

(good dante design. lucia is cute. skip this)

I don't hate this. If I played the original release I probably would have. I think a 2nd game made by the actual DMC team and not NT would have been really great, but I'm glad we got DMC5 instead. The story is pretty dumb and this game's take on Vergil is laughable. I do like this Dante though (not more than the original ofc).

Que te jodan.

The first palace is the strongest part of the game story wise and that is really unfortunate. None of the other palaces quite capture me the same way the first one did, except for the 4th one. Morgana is an awful little creature. The gameplay and visuals are aces, and I do like some of the social links.

Kind of a let down. I don't like how it controls very much, and the story is nothing to me. Don't really recommend it unless it's on sale.

If it weren't for the fact that Recipe for Turnabout has the 2nd highest concentration of annoying characters in the series, this would be a perfect game. That finale is beyond words.

Weak compared to AA1, and Turnabout Big Top is infamously bad for a reason. Last case is stellar though, and Franny is an entertaining antagonist.

I don't like Apollo (the character) very much, sorry. Trucy, Phoenix, and especially Klavier have to carry all his slack for me. Still really entertaining.

I disliked this when I was 10, I dislike it now.

Everything in here feels like it came from the depths of Suda's soul.

I liked it but I never have any real need to go back to it.

It took me 12 years but I finally beat The True Arena. The original is already like 10 out of 10, so is this.

I never bothered finsing the story mode in the original because I can't read Japanese, and I didn't in the rerelease because it was really repetitive and boring. That said I was so insanely excited for this game when it came out, I imported it. I still really appreciate how much went into everyone's movesets, and how this game does it's job at celebrating Jump's history unlike Jump Force. This was my first exposure to just about everything that wasn't Dragon Ball, Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, or Bobobo, so I have fond memories of it. Really good soundtrack too.

anyways tldr is it's you're average mid anime arena fighter but it's neat when you can point at the screen and go "I understood that reference!"

I prefer my RE games more actiony (sorry I'm part of the problem I guess) but this is undeniably one of the best put together games ever made.

I did not enjoy my time with this very much. I think the map is really confusing and cluttered, the music is really unmemorable, none of the bosses I fought felt even a little difficult. I unlocked Castle B and put it down. I'll go back to it sooner or later because I hate leaving things undone but god I can't stress enough how much I didn't enjoy this. Really dissapointed. Silver lining is that Juste has a cool design and I think the magic system he has is really neat.

This game got me to stop buying Pokemon games when I first played it at release. I'm a lot softer on it now that I've played it 10 years later but I still don't like it very much.
